An interesting and useless fact, my wife went out with Fat Boy Slim, apparently he was a shit shag but that doesn't seem to have held him back
The Praise you video is like the worst instance of flash mob dancing ever, sigur ros is very interesting and thought provoking and although the Beatles video is not the most creative it is cool to see the Fab Four when they were so young.
Not sure what is going on there with JD, something about Yin & Yang, all beyond me but unique.

I have loved that Beatles video ever since I was a kid. Firstly I love the song, one of my favourite Beatles song. Secondly I think I really like it because it is so simple. Just the four in a studio playing their music. But captured cinematically with arty smoke-filled close-up shots. You really get a sense that Beatles greatness was just them playing their music, with no special effects. Guitars, drums, their voices, a great melody and harmonies.

The Praise You clip was actually very original at the time. Flash mobs are old hat now, but back then the concept was quite new.

As a teenager New Order was the first band I ever really seriously got into (I am still a big fan), which of course led me to Joy Division. I am not sure when the video dates from though (well after Ian Curtis died I think). But I think I first saw it in the early nineties. Like the song I think the video is quite eerie and mysterious.

I thought of another video I like. I had never liked what I perceived as House music (I was more into rock at the time) but this song by Daft Punk really opened my mind to electronic music. Da Funk.

Ankara Crescent Gunboat 100% VCs

The AC GB 100% VC SRG was something I ran on vDip a while ago, and it was very well received due to the novelty of the idea. The problem with it being based around novelty is, of course, that the novelty wears off, so since most vDippers have now played it the interest over there has died down. In an attempt to revive my variant (at least for a while), I'm inviting any WebDippers who want to to try it out.
