So, I didn't want to pause a game because of some idiots requesting it for scheduled vacations they knew about and should have cleared with everyone before starting. But then another player's grandma died and that warranted a pause. I specifically granted said pause for the time the family crisis would take and that player's requested time frame. That time has come and gone and the other's won't unpause. A mod said yesterday that he would unpause the game today if they didn't agree to do it. Now, a different mod <*cough*>yebellz<*cough*> is once again sticking his nose where it doesn't belong and letting the metagamers get away with holding the game hostage until *they* decide the time is right to unpause. This mod <*cough*>yebellz<*cough*> has been a source of trouble twice before on this site. The first time it was explained he was new. The second time, it was called a misunderstanding. This time there is a clear *promise* by the first mod to unpause it in the global chat of the game (check it out, it's the only game I'm active in) and yet he is being an activist mod yet again.

I tire of activist mods. I already planned to retire when this game was through anyhow (have psoted here a couple times of late my intent). Either the game unpauses by midnight Eastern tonight, or I revoke my unpause vote and logoff the site, never to return. Activist mods <*cough*>yebellz<*cough*> suck and need to have their mod privileges revoked.
