I view it as an investment, the ROI being the entertainment I get from the site. A recent donation of a C note means I need to get at least a year more of pleasure before I reach breakeven.

And, as I know where your silver coin came from (your welcome by the way) , you should be thanking those of us who donate that you don't have to deal with the outages we used to deal with back in the day.

Hm, not that i approve forum bitching in general, but i need to intervene here. It is very nice of you, Draugnar, to have helped fund the site. Just as it is nice of every one of us who donated. It gives you no right whatsoever in my eyes to expect gratitude for it. It always annoyed me that Nigee tried pressuring people into donating, so does you playing the same tune.

I don't actually expect any gratitude except from steephie who has his silver coin cause I asked Kestas to give him one off my last donation. Elsewise, my donations are cause I want to and I think the site is worth it. Notice, I said steephie should be thanking us that he doesn't have to deal with what we used to deal with. Not simply for donating. Kestas built the site because he loves the game, but we should still thank him for doing it. The only one who should thank me specifically is steephie for his silver coin.

In other words, thank us for the great site with very few outages, kind of like thanking your lucky stars you didn't get killed today by a bus...
