Ok, on the on hand, this seems rather hippo-critical, but if you threatened to kill ajd old human (maybe putting them down rather than hunting them down, in a nice sedate setting, surrounded by family and loved ones...) you would still get death threats - from people who claim life is sacred (or maybe that is just human life...)  

So this appears to be the same kind of behaviour - life is sacred, therefore i will kill you for paying to hunt a Rhino, actually this is hypocritical. Just as bad as pro-lifers murdering doctors, or governments executing murders (capital punishment is wrong, immoral and ineffective, Fyi, also expensive) 

And that leads nicely to WTF is wrong with commdifying Rhinos? But i think an economics rant needs a seperate thread.
