Depending on what you like to listen to and who you ask they are quite a good band to some folks. I enjoy plenty of their music and have been listening to them since their first cd. Though I would only consider myself a casual fan.

I love Seether's Broken with Amy Lee. Of course, Amy Lee is simply fantastic anyhow.

I think that Linkin Park's first two albums (meteora and hybrid theory) were actually really good. At the time, there was nothing else like them. (though, I'm sure someone's about to correct me on that). Their newer albums aren't great, but they lack the vigour that drew me to them in the first place.

Now Blue Man Group... They are simply awesome.

Muse's high water mark was Origin of Symmetry. It's been a steady trip downhill since then as far as quality of songwriting. Oddly, they got shittier as they got more famous. Sad. Matt Bellamy is pretty obviously barely even putting in any effort anymore.

I'll admit that Living Things and A Thousand Suns were kind of half-assed, but I would put Minutes to Midnight in the same category as Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

TWA, it's not that they've gotten away from their routes, but they've just expanded them. They'd say that themselves; as times change, their music does too.

What exactly are their routes? Do they travel specific roadways and have started traveling other ones?

I like the Stones. I have a handful of songs on my iPod. Gimme Shelter is my personal favorite, but Sympathy for the Devil is up there.

Paint It Black (and Sympathy for the Devil) are my fav Stones songs.

Mike shinoda is literally the only reason i listen to Linkin Park. He truly is a artist. He helps so many other musicians too its awesome.

I loved Linkin Park back in 7th grade which would've been 1999/2000. They had an original sound at first, with Hybrid Theory and Meteora... I especially liked the remix album they did of Hybrid Theory called Reanimation. Unfortunately the feel of those original albums have been completely lost along with some of the original members. Basically all it is now is Chester Bennington singing some very whiney vocals on a poorly produced backing track that is trying to be the next edgy hit for preteens.

Introduce yourself to some really wonderful music; TOOL, Circa Survive, Grizzly Bear, The Mars Volta, Empire of the Sun, Minus the Bear... I could give you more but that could keep you busy for ages.

Shinoda is awesome.. Fort Minor music was always good. Hope he makes more of that.

The Jay-Z/Linkin Park mashup is also quite good.
