Is this anything more than a jobs bill for expensive unionize labor just like the original stimulus bill was a jobs bill for unionized state employees? If you don't work in a union or you own a business that doesn't employ union labor do you exist in Obama's economic world view?

Mind the gap!
Does anyone else get the urge to fill in the holes in your territory? You know those islands of alien colour spoiling your empire. How far will you go - divert an army a move? Two moves?

My megalomania has no room for anyone else, it's the itch I have to scratch.

Forcing a draw
Is currently in a gunboat game (http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=65576) where the west has formed a perfect stalemate line against Turkey. However, he/she won't vote for a draw, resulting in a very prolonged game without any end. As there won't be a winner, is there a way to for example a mod to force a draw and end the game so we won't have to fill in the same orders over and over again?

How to join the Order of Freemasonry
Hey, i am wondering if there are any Masons playing web diplomacy who can tell me how to join. I am interested, but have no idea how. Any real instructions would be most welcome.

are you a mason abgemacht
Shhhhh, he can't tell you. Its super-secret

apparently you are one of the conspiracy theorists who have tainted the masons reputation. a lot of masons wear ringsand tiepins with their sympols on them so its not exactly too secret is it. unless you are a mason in which im sorry for the accusation
Diplomat33 (243 D(B))

the site was good, thanks
@diplomat: You can't just write off the conspiracy theory. I personally am undecided on whether it's true or not (My dad believes it's true though), but even if it is true, the lowest like 7 levels of masons are supposed to know nothing of the conspiracy, so I'd have no problem with them whatsoever, if the theories are true. So I don't really see how the theories would taint the reputation of the freemasons.
Diplomat33 (243 D(B))

i agree you cannot write them off entirely, but most are for certain bias, lousy accusations

what are all 33 levels if you know conservative man?
krellin (80 DX)

Being a Mormon isn't a secret either, unless you are an outsider that wants to enter their sacred temples or know anything about the true inner-workings. And....not just my conspiracy theories, but the word of my Mormon friend, who actually just got back from visiting the Temple in Utah.

In other words, just because it is known, and even advertised, that some people are Free Masons does not therefore imply that a certain part of the Mason's inner-workings, rituals, etc are not super-secret. Duhhhh..

I also know that the U.S Government exists....and a bunch of other governments, too...and, shock of shocks, they all have super-secret inner-workings that I don't know anything about.

So any fool that thinks you have to be a conspiracy theorist to believe that the Free Mason are a super-secret society is just naive.

Whew...

THAT being said....in order to become a Mason, you must first eat the beating heart of a new born lamb and sell your soul to the Devil.

Diplomat - Your ignorance of the 33 levels of free Masonry does not mean they do not exist, fool.

that is a bias unfactual statement and i wanted instructions to join not false accusations and complete lies
I really have no idea. I knew there were 33 levels, but thats about all I remember about them.

heh I'd like to be a Mason, but those bigoted fucks wont allow atheists.
I twas just trolling, Diplomat haha. I do believe that you have to be invited by an existing Mason though. Its not like Boy Scouts where you just sign up.

gold is right:

For Membership:

-You are an adult male (usually 18-21, based on the individual jurisdiction) of good character and recommended by a Mason.
-You believe in a Supreme Being -- no atheist can become a Mason -- but we are not concerned with theological distinctions or your particular religious beliefs.
-You are interested in becoming a Mason because you hold a favorable opinion of our institution; and, your decision to apply is based on your own "free will and accord." No one will compel you to join.
what is biased and unfactual? All I said is it might be true.

07 Sep 11 UTC
Yeah, Diplofool - you should have me muted. god forbid you expose yourself to a different point of view. And....if you found anything *truly* offensive in my last posts....let me know. Otherwise, quit being such a bitch. Agreeing with CM really just makes you jackass of the day....it isn't a good position to be in. I mean....seriously....you want to align yourself with Stalker-Boy CM????
krellin (80 DX)
07 Sep 11 UTC
But SERIOUSLY, Diplfool -- WHAT SPECIFCALLY, in my above posts, which were a mixture of fact and humor, did you find SO fucking offensive that you think you should mute me, like that whiny bitch CM, who is *desperately* afraid of the truth?
I think you shouldn't pervert a forum dedicated to gaining info on how to join the masons. To join, contact a grand lodge and do the paperwork and you can go from there. Cease the cussing krellin it doesn't help anything.

Just going to throw in here that my step Grandfather is some kinda level 33 mason and is friends with Michigan Grand Master and he is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My grandmother goes to the meetings for the wives and she loves the society as well. From everything I have personally heard about it, the Masonic Order sounds like an upstanding group that you should be happy to join if you want too.

@ krellin: The fact that you believe in the existence of the US government is in fact evidence that you have fallen for the conspiracy. It actually doesn't exist at all.

When I was in the Boy Scouts, a long time ago, I was inducted into a secret society (it's much more open now!) within that organization, called the Order of the Arrow. I didn't know at the time, but I fould out later that a lot of the ceremonies etc. were patterned after Masonic ceremonies.
I know a few Masons. Apparently they're having trouble recruiting; the average Mason is pretty damn old. I think that a group that was *successfully* taking over the world wouldn't have this problem.
@AWB: Well, according to thte theory, that masons aren't the ones taking over the world, they're just a front for the people actually taking over the world. In fact, I believe I read that the highest levels of illuminati (*gasp* I said it) are not even affiliated with the masons (at least not openly). As I said before, I don't believe for sure that this stuff is true, but I believe it could be true. 50-50 chance approximately.
I think that there are way too many people trying to take over the world for anyone to have actually pulled it off.

agreed, if it had any truth in it at all

Can anyone defend the idea that a "species" that diminishes its relations to another species in exchange for increased evolutionary imposition of genetic variation among lifeforms can produce life as we know it?
