LanGaidin and I are tied for the last spot in the Premier League. I've been going nuts for months!

But, I also want to see how badly it conflicts with the GFDT and SOW. We could be in for a world of hurt if all three start in Jan.

I was wondering what the tie breaker between you and LanGaiden was going to be myself. (Although probably without as much anticipation as you of course.)

League A still has one remaining game going.

I imagine that once that game is completed it'll take some time to figure out who is coming back for the next season. I personally would guess mid-Jan to mid-Feb. But gjdip is the one running the show, so the one who'll have to figure it all out.

League C1 has been completed for a long time, but never updated. I'm trying to figure out how it worked that I came in 3rd (after coming in as a replacement for the 3rd game), but got wiped out in the D league I started in.

What are these league games? How do you qualify for them or is it a waiting list & if so how do you register?

yeah, league-A game that's left is going very slow. It's actually one of the best games I've played in... so extremely dynamic.

The person running each tournament usually posts in the forum when it is time to sign up. For the php league, new entrants enter at the D level. Since each league level has to have a multiple of 7 number of players, some people may have to sit on the waiting list. I believe ghost ratings are used to see who of the new people get in and who go on the waiting list. The waiting list is then used to replace players that disappear from the D level.

Registration for the Winter 2011 season will be open from roughly Dec 28 through Jan 11. The leagues will start a few days later. This will happen regardless of whether the last game of league A is finished or not at that time (so hurry up you guys; you look like a retirement home). I'll post an announcement in the forum when the time draws near.

@abgemacht: After discussing with TGM we've decided to use last season's position as a tie-breaker. That means you'll stay up and LanGaidin will have to fight the plebeians in league A.

I was just kidding about rushing the game. I know Crazyter is in that game and she types very slowly.

There was a thread a while back about format changes, especially anon versus non-anon. I have not decided on any changes yet.

Crazyter really likes slowing down leagues and tournaments, doesn't she? I hope this isn't a problem in our F2F tournament : )

We'll put a training collar on Crazyter in Boston and hook it to the timer. If she is still negotiating when the time goes off, it'll just keep zapping her faster and faster until she submits her orders or passes out from pain,
