Beaten to the punch, but there were more things to announce, and we shall do it officially now anyway!

We'd like to announce Valis2501, VashtaNeurotic, and bo_sox48 as new members of the webDiplomacy moderation team. Moderating takes a lot of time and dedication, and having as many applications as we did showed how greatly this site is valued and the depth of the community here, so we'd also like to thank everyone who applied to be a moderator. Please don't be too disheartened if you were not picked this time - training new moderators is an intensive process and we are limited on how many we can train at once, due to the constraints of some of us having real lives and the need to keep consistency as high as possible. In the fairly near future it is also likely we will hire more new moderators as part of the expansion process of our team. Valis, Vashta, and Bo have all shown a lot of dedication to the site over the years - and whilst some of you may not have the best opinions of them (or other mods) as users; please take into account that modding is a lot of work in their own free time, to make yours and everyone else's experiences better on this website. I ask all of you to show them the respect as a moderator that they deserve, and I of course expect them to reciprocate that respect to all users, too.

Finally, uclabb is stepping down from the moderation team. We'd like to thank him for his services to the site and hope to see him continuing to be an active and very good player!
