India is not considered a threat to world stability. Despite not even being a US ally (the US loves Pakistan too much) India is the world's largest democracy and considered a counter-weight to China.

Did India ever sign the comprehensive test ban treaty? (Or other treaty limited the testing of nuclear weapons?) or did the threaten pre-emptive strikes? (Like NK)

As for celebrating an end to the Syrian civil war; Russia has helped Assad secure the areas with a Alawite majority (ie neither Sunni nor Shia) which make up the religious minority in the region most likely to lose out is the Assad regime is destroyed by Daesh/ISIS (or any other Sunni back group)

You don't think an indo pak war is a threat to world stability? Especially when the collapse of Pakistan could lead to extremists getting nukes? The Baath are supported by a wide diversity of groups, and the Syrians just liberated the roads surrounding Aleppo and Palmyra.
