I tried to post this to the ToDo List forum, but I couldn't log in, and I couldn't retrieve a lost password. Speaking of which, can't password retrieval be automated?

I'm new to this site and therefore only have a small number of DipPoints as yet. As I understand it, DipPoints serve as a proxy for player skill---more points generally equates to better skill, or at least a greater number of games successfully completed with points awarded.

What if there were an additional filter for joining games based on the current number of DipPoints? If you're relatively new to the site, you could set a max of perhaps 100 current so that the sharks out there couldn't join. If you're an old-timer, maybe you could set a floor of 100 so that you'd be assured that it was a higher caliber of competition and you'd have less chance of flakes messing up the game.
