Trying to connect my music media from my Win 8 computer (no comments...I know..I know...) to my XBox 360. The XBox media player will see my laptop, but when I select it to play music, it fails and says "Can't connect to the PC. A firewall may be blocking the connection"

Sir Alex,

bravo for everything and do not ever come back!

I'm Newcastle fan but Sir Alex is the legend. I hear David Moyes replace him.

Well, old Moyes needed a nice club to spend the twilight of his career in. The fire left him a few years back, but he will still do ok and keep the Reds mostly out of the relegation fight. I wish him well.

A great manager (not the greatest, that goes to Clough for me). Moyes will do a good job following him

Clough vs Ferguson ...... how was Clough better?
antoniospqr (419 D)
09 May 13 UTC
@NigeeBaby: Clough was one of the few managers crowned champs with different teams, not mentioning in the space of five years he reached the top of Europe twice in a row with Nottingham who was playing in second Division when he was appointed.
btw, 27 years on the same bench is far from being a record, I guess still held by AJ Auxerre's Guy Roux.
A suggested book: "The Damned Utd" by D. Peace, even tough is not dealing with ManU, but Leeds

Manchester United will be paying tribute to Sir Alex at this weekend's game. They are asking all fans to observe a minute's applause in the 99th minute of the game.

@antonio - I've learnt never to argue with idiots, Clough lasted 44 days at Leeds, he was a pathetic disaster
antoniospqr (419 D)
10 May 13 UTC
Chapeau, this is a good way to address to an user that answered politely and raised some other issues.
Yes, Clough was a disaster at Leeds, but he was brilliant at Derby County and Notthingham Forest.
IMHO it's far too easy to win everything possible when you get the best worldwide players and one of the richest budget ever, it's much difficult to reach the top with the underdogs.

I also put in also a suggested lecture that has little to do with Clough's outcomes, and it's actually dealing with his controversial passage at Leeds. But it's an excellent booking over football.
If all this allows you to call me an idiot, I guess I have to better check what are friendly approaches and rules of engagement in this forum.
NigeeBaby (100 D(G))
10 May 13 UTC
@antonio - it is idiotic to compare the loud-mouthed egotistical alcoholic with the great Sir Alex Ferguson. Please don't let your ego get in the way of a good debate.
I think I win this one......

@ Nigee "to compare the loud-mouthed egotistical alcoholic (Cloughy) with the great Sir Alex Ferguson" isn't that the very reason both are so successful? :)

Ahhh, just watched forest beating malmo 1-0 in 1979, a great team of scots, martin o'neill (dropped injured), and some englishmen (viv anderson, the first black footballer to play for eng-ger-land), now for forest v hamburg/keegan back-to-back lol also 1-0 in 1980 Cloughy looks so like Martin Sheen :p
If you are interested in a great football from that time I suggest to take a look at "Hajduk Split vs Hamburger Sport Verein from 19.03.1980,1/4 final of the E.C.C. Or Totenham vs Hajduk in the semifinal of the Uefa Cup 1967.
Sorry - 1967 was Totenham - Hajduk in The Cup Winners Cup. Uefa Cup Totenham - Hajduk was in 1984.

I saw Bayern Munich beat Barcelona 7-0 over two legs, that has to go down as one of the best results ever in European football.
I saw this:

Split, 27.I 1980. – Stadium „ Poljud ". Attendances 30. 000 :
„Hajduk“ – „Manchester United“ 6:0 (3:0).
„HAJDUK“: Budinčević 8, Primorac 7,5, Krstičević 7, Luketin 8, Zoran Vujović 8,5, Rožić 7, Zlatko Vujović 9 (Mamić 6,5), Mužinić 7, Cukrov 7,5, Đorđević 7 (Bogdanović 6,5), Šurjak 7,5 (Maričić 6,5)
„MANCHESTER UNITED“: Bailey 5, Nicholl 5,5, Houston 5,5 (Jovanović 6,5), MC Illroy 6,5, Mc Gueen 6, Buchan 5, Coppel 5,5, Wilkins 5,5, Jordan 7,5, Maccari 7, Thomas 5,5 (Grimes 6).

Goalscorers: Primorac 22., 58. min., Krstičević 33, Mužinić 40, Zlatko Vujović 57. Bogdanović 81.

Look out, there's a Scouser about ......
We are poor now.I mean realy poor, bancrupcy. The last success was in 1995,1/4 finals of the Champions League against Ayax (the Champion after). We hardly manage to enter the Uefa Cup group stage occasionaly since.

We apparently have endless possibilities for planets to appear, in completely different climates and such... Does that mean endless possibilities for, for example, life, out there in the universe? So everything that is chemically and physically possible almost certainly happens somewhere right?

I need subs for the Masters. So far, all subs have been top 100 GR, and I'd like to keep it that way if possible (but please if you're interested don't let GR stop you from telling me). I need two more at least.

A cheap, reliable game
I've had a few too many games ruined by cheaters and CDs. I've created a anonymous game with a 25-point buy in that is pass-worded. If you're interested in playing, please reply and I'll PM you a password. I'd prefer it if you've completed (at least) 5 games, but I'll send the password to anyone who's not brand-new and has never "left" a game.
