Is this anything more than a jobs bill for expensive unionize labor just like the original stimulus bill was a jobs bill for unionized state employees? If you don't work in a union or you own a business that doesn't employ union labor do you exist in Obama's economic world view?

Forcing a draw
Is currently in a gunboat game (http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=65576) where the west has formed a perfect stalemate line against Turkey. However, he/she won't vote for a draw, resulting in a very prolonged game without any end. As there won't be a winner, is there a way to for example a mod to force a draw and end the game so we won't have to fill in the same orders over and over again?

Can anyone defend the idea that a "species" that diminishes its relations to another species in exchange for increased evolutionary imposition of genetic variation among lifeforms can produce life as we know it?

I'm admitting fully and completely that I am wrong and you are right? Are you unable to accept? Dyou not believe me when I sincerely say how very right you are!

Let me repeat it, Tettleton's Chew, YOU ARE RIGHT! R I G H T! Your eloquently written language, your robust arguments! All of it screams RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT!

If only I was as intelligent as you I would seek to expand on what you say! But alas, I am not, so I can only parrot you in order to hope to convince others of your ultimate rightness!

DonQuigleone and Tettleton's Chew, we are true brothers! Together we shall fight these ignorant liberal, communist elitists with their bizarre wahabist fetishes. We shall prevent them from turning America into some socialist communist marxist fantasy!

As for "I'm wrong all the time, but I'm also right sometimes as well. "

I know you feel you feel it would be arrogant for you to say "I am always correct", but don't worry, it's not arrogance when what you say is true! Is it arrogance to say America is the greatest country on earth? NO, because it's TRUE. Just like that it is not arrogant for you to admit you're universal correctness!

Other people here are jealous, and foolishly try to defy you with their "logical arguments" and "facts" (fed to them by liberal press might I add), they're just stupid liberal windbags who haven't worked a proper day in their lives, half of them live on welfare, and the other half live in their mom's basement. They feel uncomfortable with how truly profound your statements are!

Please accept me as a fellow soldier of Righteousness in your ranks!

I am but a lone stupid individual, I hope that you will accept my offer of abject subservience!

Please, tell me how I can help you spread your gospel of truth and justice!

You have a blanket statement Don Q which means nothing. What are you wrong about? Spell it out because if you can't your intellect means nothing to me.

We aren't brothers at all because I'm not vauge, ambiguous and disingenuous.

You have such insecurity on this issue in this thread that you want to expand it to universality as a smoke screen.

You remind of individuals I used to work with in a corporation. We were all supposed to be mentors to subordinates and everyone preached diversity and equality, but when it came time to choose their proteges the higher ups picked, you guessed it, young/white/men.
I always took someone who was older under my wing and a women if I could. I wanted a perspective totally not my own and I wanted to be true to the rhetoric.

Don Q, you are full of rhetoric and no substance. How revolting.

I keep wondering what my "arrogance" is, and I hit the nail on the head. No one in business would think me arrogant. In business there is no uncertainty there are only decisions. Do I launch the iPad today or no. You find out if you are right or wrong after the fact, but before the fact you eliminate uncertainty and decide what is "right" as in the best thing to do.

I guess people who don't face make or break decisions like that simply can't comprehend the level of conviction necessary to simply get through a day dealing with momentous decisions that effect not only your own family, but the livelihood of every employee you have.

Deciding whether or not to open Norw-Barents/ London to North/Liv to Edin or Liv to Wales, Lon to Eng Ch, Edin to North is a fun respite from that type of thing.

You are not arrogant at all! In fact, you are precisely the opposite! You are a wonderful Lustrous Personage.

I find it so pleasing that you have condescended to complement me so in your posts! Would that I had the intelligence or wisdom to do so in reutrn, but als, I am of at most limited intelligence, compared to you I am at most nothing, a mere decimal point to your long string of worthy numbers!

I just hope that my small contributions here have helped further your cause!

In fact I think they have!

Thank you so much Tettleton, or as I know call you Tettie, for we are now the greatest of friends, for accepting me into your rugged and superior band!

I am so happy and excited that you have accepted me into a bond of brotherhood together! Together we shall sweep this board before us!

TC your questions are leading and ageist but since you answered mine I answer yours honestly:

Did you accept money you did not earn for yourself from anyone or any institution in the last twelve months?
Yes, if you count taking out loans and the little bit of money my parents give me when I visit them at home.

Have you ever legally been responsible for your own child?
No, I have no children.

Have you ever been married?
No.

Have you ever buried a parent?
No. Grandparents and friends, no parents yet thankfully.

Have you ever been in a delivery room and watched a live birth?
No, I expect I would only do so with the mother of my children or if I was an obstetrician.

Have you ever created a job and hired someone and paid their wages?
No, not in the sense you are asking. Obviously I have paid people to do things for me like "please alphabetize my bookshelf I will give you this money" but no.

Do you know who W. Edwards Deming is?
Without Googling, the name sounds familiar but no. I assume/think I remember him being a business leader or CEO.

Have you ever purchased a home?
No. I rent.

Can I ask you what the purpose of your questions were? Am I not an adult until I have done the above things, or something? Should everyone strive to have done all of those things in their lives?
if you havn't done these things than you possibly couldnt have a rational thought. The truth of the matter is TC probably hasn't done half of these things. If the poor bastard had a wife and kids he'd bring them up more than Krellin.
how about you ask him about the tens of millions of people who have done these things and who vote democrat and believe in a strong state, my parents and grandparents being some of them

Fwum, read Atlas, Fountainhead years ago. You ever read Robert J. Ringer? My favorite author is Milton Friedman. My favorite current PhD is economic historian Brian Domitrovic.

I've put all of their theories to the test owning my own business. So my posts aren't based on ideas. They are based on real world experience.

I always enjoy reading idiots in this forum talk about business when they have never created a job in their lives.
Geowiz (236 D)
05 Sep 11 UTC
Perhaps you have put all their theories to the test. However, all that means is that you can validate points with experience only when those points concern limited economic ecosystems. Ideas that work for individual businesses cannot necessarily be multiplied and applied to the larger market, which is much vaster and more complex than a single business. These ideas can certainly not be applied to government and all that it has under its competencies. A business usually doesn't care about the environment in which we live in, nor about those workers who can easily be replaced, while it is a government's duty to care about these things. Also, as to the issue of creating jobs, someone who works relatively high up in a company ought to have as good of an idea of what works for a business as someone who owns a company. Perhaps not a good idea of what works to start one, but a good idea of what works to run one.

Yonni, I never lied to you about my age.
Tettleton's Chew (0 DX)
06 Sep 11 UTC
Geowiz, you strike me an as individual posting out of your ass about something that you know absolutely nothing about, business.
I'm going to make a snap appraisal here, but there is no doubt in my mind you have never been an owner of a business in your life. I also have no doubt you have never created a job and paid the salary, benefits, and taxes out of the profits of a business you owned in your life.

So you are basically posting about something that you are totally ignorant of first hand knowledge.
Theorists like you are as useless as tits on a bull as the saying goes.
I'm sure you could find work in the Obama White House spewing idiocy that would destroy more jobs, put more homes in foreclosure, and basically destroy more of the American dream just as Obama has done.
Fortunately for me in the forum I have the ability to mute the stupid ramblings of ignorant theorist like yourself.
So feel free to spew theoretical stupidity all you want to anyone who doesn't mute such useless diatribes, but I do.

POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF. Another ranting idiot bites the dust.

Even the Yemen Times criticizes the Saudi Wahhadists over their treatment of women.

Women in Saudi Arabia demand their freedom and dignity

Mai Yamani
Published:22-08-2011

The unexpected visibility and assertiveness of women has helped propel what has become known as the Arab spring. Major changes have occurred in the minds and lives of women, helping them break the shackles of the past and demand their freedom and dignity.

Since January 2011, images of millions of women demonstrating alongside men have been beamed around the world. One saw women from all walks of life marching for a better future for themselves and their countries. They appeared prominently - eloquent and outspoken, chanting calls for democratic change. They walked, bused, telephoned, and tweeted, motivated partly by a desire for their own empowerment.

The contrast between this dynamic space for open protest and Saudi Arabia could hardly be starker. Saudi women find themselves living in a petrified system. Faces of the royal family are seen everywhere; the faces of women are shrouded, forcibly hidden.
