Hey guys, I'm really sorry but I'm gonna have to pull out of this tournament.
I'm about to finish what I'd planned to be the last game on this site (for a very long time at least) and really don't have the time to keep on going long enough to finish this tournament. I find just playing one or two games at a time is not enough to keep me satisfied, yet I still spend/waste time on the site. Finishing the tournament would give an extended period of this frustration.

My excuse is that when I signed up I thought there'd be just 2 rounds (no semi finals) and that they'd go quicker, but I'm sorry for pulling out at this late stage.
Really sorry again if I've disrupted the setting of groups etc.

@GHost-I know you are a genius but how many moves ahead did you have to calculate to figure out that a German solo was impossible? How long did it take you to figure that out-about a minute and a half? OMG!

You needed to gain 6 SCs at the point of stabbing... you would have needed to take Bul (as you did), Mos, Sev and 3 more. Venice (and the rest of Italy) was out of the question, Gre wasn't. But now you needed to gain ground in the north. England had too many fleets for you to take Sweden, Norway, St.P or any of the English mainland (the reality was that you were more likely to loose Denmark), so suppose you took Paris... and what? Brest? Marseilles? It just couldn't happen, because you were outnumbered round there in terms of fleets.

@Crazy -you want "impossible"... I made it in with more points than you on an elimination and a strong second. Something feels wrong there...

still, this all goes back to my orginal point apropo of letting ghost do all my diploacy from now on.

That's very kind. My style of play seems to be that I do really well in the early phases of a game, and then get crushed.
