No apparent reason? "Banned by a moderator: multi/meta/no reply" -- meaning the mods emailed this UTF-8 named person, probably multiple times, and this person chose to ignore the emails.

I assure you your friend was banned for a legitmate reason. The mods aren't in the business of mistakenly banning players. Have your friend send us an email explaining the situation.

bo, the multi/meta/no reply is usually our catchall reason for banning when we don't get a reply in the three day grace period. It reflects our original suspicion that led to the investigation as well as the actual reason (no reply) for the ban.

In a nutshell, your friend has some explaining to do and he's already behind the eight ball.

I'll have him email you. He's a very busy person with a demanding job, and I'm fairly certain that he doesn't check anything beyond the game board itself.

Anyways, Dave your friend had multiple accounts, which is against our site rules. We don't allow anyone to have more then one account and require our members to check their emails within a few days. In this day an age it isn't an unreasonable request, especially when they are actively playing in games.
