when someone is erroneously banned midgame, how is it fixed?
A player and friend was mistakenly banned from the game I created for no apparent reason. The game is http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=141372#gamePanel .

Hail to the Redskins?
http://washington.cbslocal.com/2014/06/10/minute-long-change-the-mascot-ad-to-air-nationally-during-game-3-of-nba-finals/ The commercial in there will be aired in seven major markets (including Washington) during Game 3 of the NBA Finals. We've had the discussion before...but since we can all use a break from the seemingly-weekly reminders of school shootings (one today in Oregon)--1. Think they SHOULD change the name and 2. WILL the name be change soon?

This will confuse the Tea party .... Iran is the new best friend of The Pres

What's confusing, Nigs? It's the Axis of the Willing vs the Coalition of Evil. It was either that or they'd have to dial International Rescue, but before you could say FAB someone noticed that it was being run by a Miliband. The competent Miliband, to be fair, but still a Miliband.

Are you referring to Iran as the 'Axis of the Willing' .... I thought they were just about to nuke Israel, or don't we bother spouting that bullshit propaganda any more?
It is actually genius, it will be the blood of Iranian soldiers we'll see all over Iraq rather than allied troops, and that opens up another market for arms and weapons sales. Netanyahu must be seething.....
Obviously this is the first time diametrically opposed nations have worked together to erase a common threat.
just to throw it out there, ISIS is screwed. They have alienated nearly every international player and mobilized the shiite majority of Iraq against them. They are going to be dealing with US air strikes now as well as Kurdish and Iranian ground forces. Assad will likely press the advantage as well. This is the death knell of this group as an organized army. The question is what their impending defeat will mean in relation to international terrorism when ISIS survivors and supporters take revenge on their enemies. Also important is how much more Iran is able to consolidate their growing power in the region through military cooperation with IRAQ against ISIS.

Doomed? As much as Nigee enjoys getting excited about such things it's good practice to ignore most of what he says. I don't imagine massed ranks of Iranians will be marching through Iraq any time soon, and the US will hesitate before launching air strikes on Iraqi cities. The Kurds are also quite satisfied with running their own corner of Iraq and I doubt have any great wish to die for the Shiites.

ISIS won't be stopped any time soon.

Also, loving the fact that the aircraft carrier the Yanks chose to send is the USS George Bush. You couldn't make it up!

Octo you are an arrogant twat, why not let people come to their own conclusions, I expect if they need your help or advice on 'good practice' they will ask you because you have obviously you are the 'go to' person for advice on good practice.
I see why you love the Tories so much, you're another one of those people with ideas beyond your abilities, can you just remind me one more time how bad UKIP were going to do in the last elections, you're too busy believing your own propaganda but reality bites :-)

Nigee when did you develop principles? I'm impressed.

@ Nigs

You mean the last election where my propaganda addled mind predicted UKIP would get around 10000 votes and they got 10028? You wouldn't know reality if it danced in front of you wearing a tutu.
SYnapse (0 DX)

Oct...that doesn't detract from the fact that your visions of society are incoherent and frighteningly ignorant of basic morals.

Hey now! That tutu dance was supposed to be a private affair…

And that carrier was the George H. W. Bush, thank you very much…a Nimitz-class behemoth with a crew of around 6,000 ass-kickin’ Americans waiting for a real CIC to get back in the White House…<sigh>

@ Synapse

This is obviously something that's been playing on your mind as it doesn't seem at all related to anything else in this thread. I'm intrigued through... What vision in particular are you referring to?

I have noticed that at a certain point, you can no longer go back to older PMs and things that were sent to you. Can you go back and find these, or are they deleted? If you can go back, can someone tell me how to do that?

"Mission Accomplished'...err..I mean "On the Run"
Remember when Awesome Obama told us, like 32 different time that al Queda was “decimated” and “on the run”. I guess he was a fortune teller and foresaw their current mad dash to Baghdad… (And you thought Bush's "Mission Accomplished" was so naughty...tsk tsk...)

A good friend of mine's mom diagnosed with lung cancer,
total medical bill came up to 80k, and he's trying to raise that along with trying to pay off his already expensive college tuition. Anything helps, even if you just pass it along to other friends to spread the word, or keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Republicans Filibuster Bill to Ease Student Loan Debt--Thanks, Krellin!
http://www.nwprogressive.org/weblog/2014/06/republicans-predictably-filibuster-elizabeth-warrens-bill-to-ease-student-loan-debt.html Thank you, krellin, for supporting this Party of the People...because as a country that's now seeing unprecedented amounts of student debt crushing students and parents ALIKE, aid was the LAST thing we needed! The Republican Party--they sure know how to Just Say No (except when it comes to protecting a women's right to say that, of course.)
