If I was constantly being harassed I would leave the site yes. I play because it is fun, and having to deal with idiots attacking me over something I already did and was punished for is NOT fun. If everyone attacked me for the spamming incident, I would finish my games, leave, and go over to vdip or playdiplomacy.

And sorry, it is a horrible habit of mine. I just can't shut my mouth when someone insults the little guy :\

@BreathOfVega, I put quite a lot of attention into that thread, especially because it seems to have chased a returning member from our site. I personally don't think that's something to be desired. I expressed that opinion in the other thread and I am expressing it here.

On the note of your win percentage not concerning me...how is commenting on someones resign rate any different? It's not fun having someone point out unrelated points like that in a conversation. To be completely clear, I am posting this as a member, not a moderator. The only time I will post as a moderator on the forum will be if people are actively breaking the rules.

vDiplomacy is a site that uses the same code as webDip to provide variants.

Strange, I have 0 resigns and I was proud of it, but it seems that If I play dirty once or two I can have a dozen of resigns, and I will be more respected.

Jmo, I expect you to understand the difference between draw/defeat and resign ON OTHERS' GAME, since you have oh so many wins. I don't know why you put yourself in this swamp and I don't even mind. I don't even try to invite you to look at what I wrote in THIS thread, if it justifies your reaction, or to consider the whole thing about "chasing" a member when I was (one of the few who were) actually explaining why he was being targeted.

On a side note, you are a mod even when you forget it. Someone with a high win percentage should make sure to point it out.

The advantage of playing at vdip is more variants, more custom special rules and reliability system (where if you CD/NMR in to many games you can't join more)

The disadantage of playing at vdip is less people and more frequent server crashes (which are still rare, just not as rare)
