Other Diplomacy Sites
I play diplomacy on this and another (http://www.playdiplomacy.com/) site. Does anyone else know of other sites to play on?

I ask because the more sites I play on, the better the chance of me finding the variant I'm looking for. Actually, what I really need is for everyone on both sites to play on both sites, giving me even more games to choose from...

I have a question : Please look to it.
Few days before i posted that F gascony should not support hold F Spain South Coast. I was told that there is no problem in doing that..
Then why don't F Spain (sc) is not able to support hold F Gascony. And is it possible for a fleet at Norway to support hold Fleet at StP (sc) ?

Your most strongly disliked politician and why
What politician do you hold a special grudge for?
Thucydides (864 D(B))
11 May 12 UTC
I never really had one - of course there were the ones that I considered living monsters - that's just your regular litany of dictatorial goons. And there were always a few American politicians that really rubbed me the wrong way, but it was all sort of distant and impersonal. I had never really had a politician more or less personally screw me over.

That all changed with Rick Perry, the worst American politician currently on this earth.

Literally every single thing I hear about him is something more to hate.

The latest - stories are circulating that he might use his political weight to force University of Texas president Bill Powers out of a job for essentially disagreeing with him. Perry ordered a tuition freeze on Texas universities, which is ludicrous when you consider that he has also led the charge on slashing our already struggling school budgets to close a budget shortfall instead of dipping into a "rainy day fund" which was set up exactly for such shortfalls.

Basically he personally boned me just because he gets off on spending cuts and clearly doesn't give a damn about education (he was also a straight-C student).

Add on to that the fact that although his current term of office is constitutional, he really should not have run for re-election; he's just been in office too damn long. Already our longest-serving governor and we're barely into his last term. Something like 15, 16 years of Rick Perry? My god. Kill me.

Speaking of kill me, did you know that Rick Perry is a murderer?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Todd_Willingham

I'm not sure if my special ire for Perry is because of:
1) His policies are particularly asinine/he has been exposed as a douche
2) He is a governor and therefore closer to home and more impactful on my life
3) He is the first major politician I voted against, so I now perhaps have some special distaste, seeing as how I attempted to unseat him.

Anyway what about you guys, I could go on and on.

Randy "Duke" Cunningham of California. Kept a detailed list of how much a bribe would cost for a certain favor. For example, a $14 billion defense contract would cost you $140K and a yacht. Guy was a pro. And a douchebag.
David "Hookers And Family Values" Vitter holds a special place in my heart.

Actually, no, I'm lying. The 70% of Louisianians that re-elected him as a "family values" candidate after the DC Madam scandal hold a special place in my heart.

It's honestly kinda hard to be mad at the DC cats for fattening up at our expense when the public at large is completely fine with feeding them further.

lol, Perry's not so bad.

There are a lot of politicians I've been really, really angry at over extended periods of time, but it usually dies down somewhat. So unless / until something else comes to me, I'll single out the Congressional leaders over the past 15 years who have taken us from a country where people in opposite parties really disliked each other to one where they hated each other and simply refused to work together under any circumstances. Denny Hastert, Trent Lott, Tom Daschle, Nancy Pelosi. Harry Reid I've been really mad at before, but he's not the worst, and I haven't yet made up my mind about Boehner. Part of his problem is he's got too many loons in his caucus, so I'll happily include Michelle Bachman et al. I don't know, I could go on and on. The whole generation of them, basically. There is hardly a statesman among them.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, but at the same time she's kind of a godsend. Instead of any of the sane Democrats who could be running the DNC, they decided to pick her.
i really fucking hate my smug, venal, lying prick moron of a governor, Scott Walker. Bully/batterer/corrupt state supreme court justice David Prosser is way up on my hate list as well. I also have a strong antipathy towards Mr. Obama for his eagerness to not only adopt wholeheartedly the draconian and dictatorial policies proffered by his dimwitted puppet of a predecessor, but to expand upon them whilst simultaneously shielding the petty grifters who apparently make up the entire investment banking sector of the economy from any consequence of their arrogance and lunacy.
Anyway, if I were to rank them, it would change with regularity as I get news as to which one most recently further tossed my country and state into the third world. Also, Scalia deserves to be on the list; it's clear that any claim he makes to fealty towards some sort of unified legal theory passed to mere hypocrisy a long time ago.

Henry Kissinger. This man is actually responsible for more deaths in human history than anyone since the Second World War.

He gave cover to, material aid to, or even principally planned wars of aggression in East Timor (the Indonesian invasion), Cyprus (the Greek invasion), Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia (the Vietnam War and the expansion of bombings to Laos and Cambodia under Operation Menu). He also gave cover to the rule of terror in Chile under Pinochet. Most egregiously, he gave cover to two (!!) of the worst genocides of the twentieth century-- specifically, of the Cambodians by the Khmer Rouge, and of the Bangladeshis by the Pakistanis. (Both are tied for three million a pop, tied for fourth place alongside the expulsions of ethnic Germans after World War II, and behind only the Holocaust, the deliberate famine in Bengal under the British, and the Holodomor.)

Oh, and he got a Nobel Peace Prize.

Dude can take his seat next to his good pals Pol Pot and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in the circle of hell reserved for génocidaires.

Actually virtually all the so-called "Holodomor" pictures from taken from the Volga famine of 1921-1922.

I'm a Wisconsinite, so it's a no brainer... Walker is scum.
Scumbag Walker has apparently had a "Come to Jesus Moment" on funding economic development in Milwaukee. Granted, he maybe could have had this when he was in charge of Milwaukee County, or during the first 15 months of his stretch as governor, but I'm sure it's merely coincidence that he's had this moment a month before the recall.

Some other noob questions
For the voting, I have a few questions.
1. For a draw, does it have to be unanimous?
2. For a pause, how does that work? I understand a pause if you need some extra time due to outside reasons, but does it have to be unanimous as well? Or can you just request it from a mod?
3. Is cancel to cancel a game? If so, why would that be an option instead of draw?
