Global Chat Liars: Calling two players one.
In a current game, a player is deliberately accusing two players of being the same person. He asserts that the "player" has messaged him and admitted as much. However it is a blatant lie. Is there anything that can be done about this, because I dont want to see peoples accounts being barred over such a thing.

Face-to-Face in Boston - Last Call
We almost have the 21 needed for three full games of face-to-face Diplomacy this upcoming weekend in Boston. This is your last chance to get on board. If you live in or around Boston, enjoy spending time with other human beings, and want to test your game against some of the most accomplished (and some significantly less accomplished) Diplomacy players, let us know. You know you want to play. Saturday, June 11 = two games; Sunday, June 12 = one game.
Love it.

Toilet Graffiti
Following a post I saw in the 'your jokes here' thread, I remembered one particularly funny piece of 'art' in a public toilet and figured it didn't belong in the jokes thread. If you've seen something hilarious written in a public toilet, I'd love to hear from you!

I recall a piece of toilet art I once saw...

"To pee or not to pee, that is the question."

Not original, perhaps, but funny that I'd come across it... ;)

The one that's always stuck in my warped mind is:

Some they come to sit and think
Others come to s**t and stink
But those of us who've done it all, we come to write upon the wall

I've always liked, "We don't piss in your ashtray, so please don't throw cigarette butts in our urinal."

Not graffiti but a true story. I was in Cancun and there was a sign in the stall that read " please do not put toilet paper in the toilet. " YUCK!

^^ That's common in quite a number of countries, where the sewer system is not always able to cope with it.

Yeah, I've heard that too figlesquidge, but still, YUCK! Just another reason to count ones blessings I suppose.
On a computer programming course decades ago, all of the graffiti in the stalls was written by the staff. This was written on the door:-
"You are now experiencing a FIFO queue."

And written on the rear wall, just above the bowl:-
"If you're reading this you're probably experiencing a LIFO queue."
Please don't throw fag-ends in the urinal as it makes them soggy and difficult to light.

On the wall to my left, somebody had written "Look right.". I looked right, and saw written around the same place on the wall to my right, "Toilet Tennis! Look left." Made me giggle.
That reminds me. Long long ago at an Airforce base far far away...
On the left wall of a stall...
"For a demonstration of how radar works see other wall."
On the right wall of a stall...
"For a demonstration of how radar works see other wall."

Back there and back then the govt bought all of its loo roll from a single company. The company's logo was a small square that was printed on every sheet. I once saw this written above the loo roll holder...
"If used both sides tick box and leave out for laundry."

These 3 lines, one above the other, were presumably written by 3 different people with different pens at different times (at least, I hope they were written at different times):-
"I like grils!"
"You mean girls, stupid!"
"'Ere! What about us grils then?"

Speaker, that reminds me of the single bathroom at one of the computer lab at my University. Being a single bathroom it said neither "Men" nor "Women", but rather had a sign saying "Unix".
@Alderian:
So, at the start of a new student year at Reading Uni they made all the ablutions in the student's accommodation blocks unisex, but they didn't tell anybody! They just had "Shower/Toilet" signs on the doors. Directly opposite the door on the nearest to me were shower stalls. First morning there and in walked Speaker, all innocent and unknowing - "SSSCCCRREEEEAAAMMMMMM" from the poor girl in the first shower stall. Exit Speaker, at speed. The next morning, one girl was on guard outside the door while the others all used the facilities. True story.

some thing like "because bathroom graffiti is done for neither money or recognition, it is the highest form of art"

nit really funny but cool, there is a Bgraffiti news ticker at a local university. updated about... 1 to 5 times a week. latest few are
-Anonymous Declares War On The System
-NATO’s Afrika Korps Escalates War Of Attrition Against Libya
-Israeli company debuts stealth armor
-French heliocopter attack teams active in libya
-3 meltdowns at fukishima nuclear japan. large areas uninhabitable.

mostly what I see in bathrooms is phone numbers for sex lol

Austria-Hungary as a good first target?
I seem to be drawn to choosing A-H as a first enemy - he seems so much in the middle of things and so convenient to attack! I refrain if the A-H is extremely articulate/experienced, if I don't border him, or if his neighbors have something else in mind. Is my 'Austria-Hungary syndrome' common?

abgemacht wants *YOU* to find players for the Boston F2F!
Crazy and I have been killing ourselves promoting the Boston F2F game. We have 16 *great* players, but if this is going to be an amazing tournament, we need 5 more people. So, everyone who is playing, try to find someone who'd like to come along and get them in contact with me.
