I am too addicted to Diplomacy. My family is threatening to do an intervention. I am halfway serious. I could even get in trouble at work. Has anyone else been in this situation?
This game has been trying to end for almost a month now. We have a CD player and all 6 remaining players have voted to cancel. It never went through so we tried to all vote unpause to see if it will go through after that. All players currently have cancel and unpaused voted for but nothing is resolving.
They're selling their drugs division because of competition from generic drug-making companies, could this spell a huge scaling back in drugs R&D, and what are the ethical implications?
A game on my tab says i havent finalized and i keep unfinalizing it and refinalizing it but it doesnt seem to work....its not like it matters because im already out of that game but still i like to see every game finalized.
One of my games is paused. I wanted to look up until when the one who asked for that pause will be off. But when I sroll in the global chat box there don't seem to be all posts to be found. Are they vanishing after some time?

Does anyone still play on the "judges" site via email with the "signon" and "press to" commands? It seems so old fashioned now. I am finishing up a game on it and it will probably be my last on that site. the syntax and the long waits were intolerable and getting longer. but the last judge I had was not very impartial eitehr. anyone have any opinion about that site?

This is a very small issue, but I notice that when I look at one of my finished games, in the box showing all the players', for each person it says: Bet: 50(D) / Won: (D)
Well I guess this is ok for the first time eh? 4th obivously leaves me in D Level come next season, that's alright with me. Anyways on to the Statement. First off I got to say we had to one of the most organized league in the tourney thanks to your truely :P I never with most of the players in my league only lulzworth and I knew it other well. First Game I got nailed, I blame Turkey, he was in Rumania instead of Russia if only. Still I had 3 more games...2nd Game was the longest game mostly through Lulzworth didn't pause I'm proud and ashamed I got a draw in that game with one SC. Then game three saw LanGaidin and me go from foe to friend to foe to friend and one mighty stab ALMOST kept lulzworth from winning; freak accident...Germany NMR on the vital turn. and the fourth game was a doozy. My only experiment success must to France's dismay. I call it the alpine ambush. While I doing well the whole game I could of never won. I could of never beaten Germany in a Turkish Eating Contest nor stab him well. My last attempt to keep him from winning didn't go so well; looking back I should of stayed on course on that on. All and all I give myself a 3/5 performance
I would have to say that it was a very enjoyable experience for my first tournament; it was also my real first true WTA experience as well. That makes for rather dynamic alliances and being flexible. Game 3 was definitely one of those, as airborne said, I don't know how many times switched from friend to foe and back again.
I must also say it was very organized. All players were timely and played very well. It was a good group of people whom I would definitely play w/ again.
Well, its more like the actual European military situation - spats of war followed by years and years of extremely tense peace maintained only be every side's military impotence.
So what's the deal? Ukla and I move up to league C? I don't remember the rules exactly.
