I've been in a couple of games so far where a unit that is dislodged has nowhere they could possibly retreat. Under the rules, the only possible action for that unit is a disband. But the system still requires that player to enter an order to disband that unit. For example, the Viennese unit in game http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?
gameID=12366 that is dislodged in Autumn of 1906. It can't retreat anywhere. It can only disband. But France will have to enter an order doing as much, and the game will have to wait until s/he enters said order and finalizes it.
Wouldn't it be better if the unit were disbanded automatically, and the game immediately moved to the next phase? Am I missing some advantage of the current system that outweighs that?
