PS always been meaning to ask, because as far as I know you`ve never mentioned it. What do you do for a living Edi? Do you have a Diplomacy related job, or is there a life outside of all those championship finishes and selfless spreading of the hobby ;)?

transport something engineer i think, hehe, i just saw some guy called edi birsan on the TWC forum page and thought hey hang on i know that guy! well not know but kind of. you posted on the stainless steel forum edi, i was just reading it ot get some hints on how to succeed in SS4.1 which i just started playing.

They are just unicode characters Edi - someone explained this to you before when talking about writing upside down. Go into Word and click insert symbol then have a look through.

I don't think you can control the colors though. I think Blocky might have been itally or something when you saw him as green, because the font color comes from the website code, the shape comes from the unicode character - the block, by the way, is 2588 in hex.
███ <- I formatted those in Word to be green but you can see they take the font color of text typed in a message (Black). When Blocky posts to the forum it's blue, as are all of ours.

i know what you are talking about but for him you didnt explain anthing, all you did was mix some numbers and words together and call it a sentence.

you have to explain, in detail, how to retreive those symbols from the depths of his computer to his screne

or you could use character map; it's easier:

Windows: start>accessories> either just go to it or it's in system tools
Mac: there's a link to it in System Preferences
Ubuntu: there's a link to it in Control Centre, and one in Administration.

well figlesqidge did that - I just moved the conversation from how to get the symbols (MS Word >> Insert >> Symbol) to the fact that I don't think you can pick the color. In fact Word's "nsert Symbol" dialog, is also how I found out the unicode code for blocky's little blocks. Giving the code was the only thing that would have been foreign in my post - and that was listed as a "btw".

so take back your rude comment about throwing abounch of words and numbers together and calling it a sentence or I will be forced to post a thread titled:

"If you have anything to say about WhiteSammy but don't want to be associated with him, post it here"

Edi: Here's Blocky's profile where you can see the green version at the heading, just like the rest of us on our profile heading, and the color change depending on his color in his games, just like the rest of us. That's what I was refering to earlier about the colors, it was just hard to find his profile, until he posted in the ""Clean Maps" thread today - which by the way, his blocks show up the same light blue as our does when we post.

And WhiteSammy - still no takeback? I'm about to post a diplomat1824 style thread about you ...
