Actually 0.81 and 0.82 came out since you joined, so I think you're minimizing it a bit, but no I don't usually develop during semesters except to add things that are required (like the draw & pause commands, mod CP improvements etc). The largest releases 0.75 and 0.8 were done around this time in the last 2 years because it's the summer hols here and work isn't as mentally draining as study :-)

Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but I get the impression from your recent posts that you want phpDip to become a stabbeurfou clone.
There are definitely features which could be added here (and perhaps stabbeurfou could be made more beginner friendly), but each site fills its own niche
Making either mimic the other would defeat the purpose of either site e.g. Text-based vs generated orders, e-mail style messaging vs IM/forum style, committing to a tournament vs joining individual games, waiting lists vs selecting a game, etc. These are decisions which reflected what sort of site we wanted to build, not right/wrong
If stabbeurfou suits you and has the features you want then great, but we don't all look at stabbeurfou as the prototype of an ideal Diplo site, just because we have different goals
While I'm writing about this, do these sites with many more things being done really need this much advertising, especially here? :-P It seems to be getting a bit excessive
No other web-diplo site seems to do this, I've even had a stabberfou plug in the help forum in phpDip's Sourceforge project page :-| No idea what they were browsing around there for

I'm not sure, I'm always surprised to find that people don't know there's a large map because they didn't recognize the icon below the map right now, I'm not sure if a clear icon could be made at that size
The commands were a rushed fix though, and something graphical would be better

Yeah translations and variants are the two features which are always at the end of the todo list :-(
