Definitely a big fan.

*SPOILER ALERT* What did you think of the decision to vote out Trish last night? Going in, I was expecting Tony to give here his immunity idol, but after thinking about it, I think it makes some sense.

It was the right move for most people. I don't see why Tony went along with it. It did nothing but make Trish less likely to vote for him in the end. I think Tony is playing one of the better games but the type he is playing always has a good chance to backfire. He needs to be on good terms with as many people as possible on the jury.

Only season I've missed is season 1. Definitely been an exciting season.

I was surprised that Tony didn't save Trish. He had no need of playing the idol on himself. But maybe he wanted her on the jury thinking she'll vote for him. She definitely won't vote for Kass.

Well the reason implied in the episode seemed to be that Tony wants to pretend like that other idol works for Final 4. If that works, I think it's a great move, and he probably would have a pretty good sense of whether people believed him about that or not. He definitely was right to not tell people exactly what the idol does.

I started watching season 15 (China), but have since gone back and watched all but Palau and Thailand. This has been a very good season, I agree.

Oh this season has been superb. I believe that if Spencer wins the last immunity challenge, he will take home the million, which is great for me as he was my day one pick. My ideal Final Tribal Council is Spencer, Tony and Kass, but I doubt both Tony and Spencer will be there, too risky for each other. Overall, there have been so many contestants to love, hate and love to hate and they are all new faces. This is definitely one of the best seasons in awhile.

Fascinating. Someone over at Vdiplomacy is starting a survivor event. It looks quite interesting. It's going to try to merge the two.
Also, I heard a rumour going around it is going to be a final two this season. I always enjoy final two more than final three. Final three is worse imo for the same reason a final four would be worse than a final three; if you know what I mean.

I'm a big Survivor fan, been watching all of them since the finale of Season 1. I think there is a huge crossover between Survivor and Diplomacy, as far as the social aspects. This has been a good season. I don't think the brains/brawn/beauty division really mattered that much. It's more that they got a good crop of people and it's fresh because they finally stopped bringing back veterans.

The new special idol is cool, but I think it's too powerful (had it been used earlier). Tony's misinformation about what it does was brilliant, and I think it will get him into the final three. I thought it would have been cool if Tony just kept it secretly in his bag of tricks and nobody even knew he had it until the aftershow.

I think Final Three will be Tony, Kass, and Spencer, with Spencer winning the whole thing. Going back to a Final Two format would be an interesting twist.

That would be a good final three, the real movers and shakers of the game. I like Woo in general but he hasn't really played the game like someone that deserves to win.

I agree that that will probably happen is Spencer wins the immunity challenge, which feels really implied by the edit. Should be interesting.

Seven individual immunity challenges so far this seasons: Spencer 3, Tasha 3, Woo 1. With Tasha out of the way, I don't see the others beating Spencer on individual challenges. I also agree about the editing, which is part of why I pick Spencer for the sole survivor.

Exciting finish. I pvr'd it and forgot to PVR the reunion show so it cut off just at Spencer's question. Fail. I looked up the results. Some thoughts.
1. Final 2 made for a much better finish.
2. Spencer's final argument was really good. Sad he didn't win but it's guaranteed he'll be coming back.
3. So happy Kass didn't make it to the end.
4. Lol. LJ is on drugs.
5. Surprised Tony win 8-1. I probably would have vote for Woo at the end. He made it to the end without really backstabbing anyone, no reliance on idols, was on the outs of his alliance but managed to wiggle his way to the top.
6. Tony did deserve the win too. I personally think swearing on peoples lives and graves is a little too much. It's a game, but come on! It's not necessary.

I think Spencer swung alot of the jury votes with his support speech. In fact, Tony was surprisingly pathetic at the last tribal counsel. He is usually a bit more confident and robust.

As Jeff said at one point, a much larger portion of this group came into Survivor to play hard. Often there is a large portion of people who kind of coast along but people on the jury all played the game pretty hard and I think that in the end, they didnt want to disrespect their play by voting for someone who didnt really play hard.

Just got to watch the finale. Man, I thought Spencer had convinced Tony to let him go to the fire making against Woo. But Tony made the right decision.

Next season is another Blood vs. Water. Think Spencer and his sister will be on it?

I think Tony had it locked going into final tribal. I just can't believer that Woo took him there. Talk about emotional manipulation.
