Because at one time or another, everybody has been the target of his lunatic rage. It's fun to watch, and he's easy to set off, so I think that's why people fuck with him so much. We loves us a Draugma train wreck!

Draug does pick up losing, abandoned positions and does try to correct others' illogical positions, but he does have strong opinions of his own, like most of the regulars on the forum.

I think that it's more of a meme thing that has picked up a lot of momentum.

I totally get no one(or at least, not everyone) hates him. That's why I called it a running joke and put "everybody hates Draug" in quotes. But running jokes tend to have origins.

So, does abge and philcore's answer represent the concensus? That he generally aiight, but occasionally takes a dive off the deep end?

I was rather I'll for several years on the site - diabetes out of whack and a virtually non-functioning thyroid had a major effect on my personality. Even now, when the doctor finds one or the other is wandering off course and has to make am adjustment, I cam go Draugma on the site. But I am trying to monitor myself in real life and the site and take proactive measures when I sense a mood swing coming on. Nicotine helps *a lot* as does my woodworking, home renovation, and yard work hobbies. Last summer and fall, I was trying to go to school full time and working 70 hour weeks because my employer (who promised to cut back on the hours if I returned to school but didn't) decided I was essential on three projects. It put me in the hospital, I nearly lost a leg and my eyesight due to diabetic complications from it, and my thyroid finally shut down completely, so I had another famous meltdown. But everything is back on track and I have a new job with better working conditions and better pay (no longer need my bonus to male 6 figures). That's why you haven't seen any threats or rants or stuff since last November.

I havnt been a regular on the forums for some time so my info is dated. And if draug is trying to be better person more pwer to him.
I cant say I hate him, this is internet forum for geez sakes. But I have always found his input shallow and unhelpful at best, and at worst virulently racist/homophobic/misogynistic. I also seem to recall some really disturbing lecherous comments about his 15 year old neighbors, and I seem to recall him calling me faggot a bunch of times over the years which is less than endearing. But again I havnt been here in a bit so maybe hes less of a douchebag now. But insofar as you can "hate" someone you dont know, form online, I do. or did at least

I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I'm quite fond of our resident draug queen, no matter how crazy he gets at times.

The hottie issue for me was when we were at the neighbor house and the17 year old came out in the tightest short short I've ever seen (talk about lip reading) and a tight short cropped t-shirt so that when she reaches to get something off a shelf, her side and bottom part of the boob said "Hello!" No bra and nipples like pencil erasers poking through. Then she dropped something and bent over straight legged to pick it up while facing away from me. The little bit of fabric just disappeared and she wasn't wearing anything underneath. I about had a coronary with my erection right then and there!
