Generation Jobless
A cool documentary, and although focused on Canada (Toronto specifically) it also applies to a lot of other developed countries such as the US.

Be Afriad, American Conservatives...Be Very Afraid (Or, You Know...NOT)
http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2014-03-21/conservatives-fear-discrimination-against-whites?cmpid=yhoo I don't care HOW BADLY Obama's doing on foreign policy issues (which, for the record...yeah, he's not exactly winning any awards there...um, I mean, since that Nobel that he won that even we liberals are scratching our heads over.) If conservatives don't, en masse, change their attitude on this topic and break the liberal monopoly on the multicultural vote...YOU WILL LOSE. PERIOD.

While I know you were going for humor, I hear they are revisiting the world of Mad Max.in Mad Max: Fury Road. Tom Hardy will be playing Max (a nice change from Bane and Shinzon)

@ Draug

I know, and they should leave it well alone. Whether it's making remakes of Robocop and Total Recall, or adding sequels to the likes of Mad Max or Indiana Jones, the result is never good.

Except for the latest Die Hard, which rocked! The first is still the best, but the latest was right there with Die Hard With a Vengeance and far and away better than Die Harder or Live Free or Die Hard (I misnamed it earlier. A is A Good Day to Die Hard).

And somehow, Bond reinvents itself every few movies with a new actor and makes it work for a time (although I have to almost completely blot Roger Moore's films out make that apply). I know Craig has 2 more scheduled, but I hope they decide to reinvigorate again after those two (unless he is still holding up well in the role).

The single, most action packed movie i know is: Shoot em up
It is most definitly the only movie i know where someone gets killed using only a carrot. Go watch it, you will most probably enjoy it extremely.

Sherlock homes a game of shadows with Robert Downey Jr is probably the best movie I seen. Set just before WW1 the infamous Moriarty is trying to create a world war after buying up all the weapon factories. Sherlock must try to put an end to Moriarties plans before a world war ignites! Great action, good lines, interesting plot all in all a great movie I recommend it to anyone wanting somthing different. And after your done watching it then watch how Sherlock homes should of ended done by Hishe

I know of one were a pencil disappears in a persons eye and obviously kills them. Also True Lies has that great scene where Arnie slips out of his cuffs and kills the torturer with his bare hands, use him as a shield, and kills the armed guard with one of the torture tools. Fun movie.

Al, although you haven't reminded me of him recently, when you first joined the site I kept saying you reminded me if Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday in Tombstone. You've since dropped the 19th century way of talking (which is a shame, because you nailed it) but that movie us still a great one and worth seeing.

That's latin, darling. Apparently Mr ringo is an educated man. Now I know I hate him.

Try Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed. It's on Netflix

If you're looking for something more mainstream, try Black Hawk Down. Most action-packed movie of all time, and it's also on Netflix.

The boston college tapes
This is a difficult one, and I'm really undecided about how I feel about this issue. For those who don't know the boston college tapes are recorded interviews of former paramilitaries in Northern Ireland who only agreed to speak on condition that they would not be released until after their death. Tapes have now been handed to law I forcemeat and some interviewees have been arrested for serious crimes. Help me out here..

Webdiplomacy Tournament 2014
I am interested in starting a Webdiplomacy tournament this year. Please post here if you are interested in joining and state your preferred phase length. At the moment I am thinking 36-72hr phases. It will take solo winners through to the next round and those in draws (the less people the better) might have a chance to join the soloists. Is anyone interested?

Putin33, about the Crimean situation.
I don't have the link right now, but I'm sure someone wants to look it up so we can all call him out on what he was so absolutely certain about that it was pretty much impossible to have a sensible discussion about Crimea with him.

What did Draug do?
So, there seems to be a running joke about how much everyone hates Draugnar. Other tha the fact that he swears for emphasis a lot, I find he usually makes real points when he posts, and when I have had a real question regarding the game/forum, he has been downright civil and helpful. Polite even.

So what started the whole "everybody hates Draug" thing that gets brought up all the time. let the newbie in on it guys.

Funniest Joke
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps, "My friend is dead! What can I do?". The operator says "Calm down. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guys says "OK, now what?"
