Show me an actual case of a major project being stopped that only mildly affected an endangered animal. These hypotheticals are impssoble to have a conversation about.

darter...who really...seriosuly...honestly...gives a rip if the darter goes extinct. Not to be calous, but species go extinct all teh time. Most like, the snail darter is some variation of animal which, in its absence, would be replaces in teh food chain by soemthing else. Honestly, no harm, no foul.
