Why we love Webdiplomacy.net

I like this website because people here are unique.

I appreciate that this forum is smart and intimidating. I have always been labelled an idiot or a genius and here its amusing how I am somehow both.
I wanna apologize though for being rude and deliberately misleading to this community. I also wanna say this site has already given me some friends I want for life.

ok, I don't get it. I click on games, and under joinable it says 70 or 80 some odd joinable games. Then I click on that, and there's a list of only a few joinable games. The next page has no joinable games. Where the heck are the rest of the joinable games?

Creating a string of misleading threads.

This is certainly considered forum spam. When I open my forums tab and have upwards of 3 of these threads all made by the same person that is spam. This would be akin to my following this thread with a "Creating a string of non-misleading threads" and a "Creating a string out of leading threads."

Game roles tend to differ from game to game, partly to keep the games original and engaging for the long-term players.

Generally:
1) There will always be a town and a mafia.
2) The town will always have a large majority of 'Vanilla Town' players, who have no additional roles other than the general purpose of their town alignment.
3) 'PR' stands for Power Role, which is the opposite of a Vanilla Role.
4) Common town Power Roles are: Cop, Doctor, Vigilante.
5) Common mafia Power Roles are: Godfather/Ninja, Roleblocker.
6) The mafia usually also has a Vanilla Role player/s, these are referred to as a mafioso or goon.

Game roles for individual games are fully explained in the respective game thread. Game threads are put up on the forum around 24-48 hours before the game start.

PR just stands for Power Role, I.e. A player that has special actions to perform. Most of us will just be VTs with the amazing power to get lynched faster than a speeding bullet.

If we're moving away from irreverence to being serious on this, I know exactly what my call on this as GM would be, Jamie.

I would say that if every player came up with their personal policy on who they will and won't play with we wouldn't have a game.

I'd rather think we're all still just having a little bit of fun in the sign up thread before the game starts, though. So put your confirmation on that list :)

I am being completely serious.

Brainbomb's recent conduct on the forum is beyond what I can swallow and if he continues it, I will mute him forever.

I have been told that you are not allowed to participate in Mafia if you have one of the other participants muted.

Therefore this needs to be resolved before I can commit.
