There is no warmongering. There is no expansionism. You paint us incorrectly, sir.
You call us power-hungry. Have you not seen good will and good wishes to all who have treated us accordingly?
The comment I made about being a peacekeeping goes back to the balance of power that has previously been mentioned with each of the European nations having five centers. Our presence in Belgium helps to balance things. If you take that to mean that I hope for war between France and Germany, when we would only have one army between the two of you? That would indeed be foolish.
I state to you sir, my intentions, since you seem so intent on misreading them. There is no ill will, other than the ill will of being misjudged.
Her Majesty plans to send ships laden with fish and chips to Norway. We plan to secure our borders to the south in the channel and move Her Majesty's retinue from Liverpool into Welsh territory. Then, after refreshing herself a bit in the hill country of Wales, Her Majesty plans to cross the channel into Belgium for holiday.
I do not like the insinuation of war-mongering. Looking back at our dialogue, you have come out of the gate suspicious. We harbor you no ill will. The troubles between our nations are long passed.
You have seen the good will I have offered to the noble Czar of Russia and the illustrous Kaiser of Germany, and the mighty nation of Italy. We met one another bearing gifts. You came with conditions.
I will go one further, my good sir. Her Majesty puts her relationships with the aforementioned nations on the line as collateral. We do not harbor any ill will towards France and your claim of expansionism is baseless. IF we do not follow the publicly stated orders, then may Russia and Germany drop the full weight of their might upon me.
Her Majesty wishes to communicate her good will to such an extent, that she is willing to delay, briefly, the goodwill shipment to Norway until she is safely in Belgium. If French territory is encroached by her Majesty, then we would invite Russia to blockade us from Norway with his fleet.
As to my "aggressive" statements. May I remind you sir, that it was you as an emissary of your leader that entered our discussion filled with demands and conditions. The argument could be made that the French want an empty channel and a limited presence in Belgium in order to further her own expanionist tendencies. We make no such argument, for France's actions shall speak for France.
May our peace last as long as possible.
Long Live the Queen
