No I imagine meme will need to have a life vest to survive the titanic disaster of a voyage. You ate in intolerable human being to work with. I have seen nothing that would indicate you know how to comprimise or listen to other people. The whole game will be meme trying to clean up your ignorant missteps like Maniac tried too in MXVI.
At least I can take comfort knowing that "when" you abysmally ruin Mafia for whatever ill fated sops try to play on your game; at least it will be the only time where you can no longer squirm and blame the GMs for your grievances. (Unless of course you opt to blame meme at that point.)

You lack the basic skills of how to tolerate ambiguity so I cant imagine how you can even pretend to be capable of "playing this game optimally" much less being able to "run the game optimally".

Keeping with substance you are in fact horrible at mafia. You said you didnt anticipate how to play as a VT and it was hard for you. VT is the most common role and if you cant even play as a VT you shouldnt be playing the game at all. Furthermore your style of scum hunting is terrible. You've caught 1 scum in 3 games; great (tinyclap). Are you just playing to compensate for being lonely? We dont need that style of player we have a much more nuanced unseful version of that.
If you think you are good at this game put it to the test. read the first page of MX and tell me who wins the game.

@Maniac Im referring to the game where you and Jamiet bickered in the QT over the course of 2 days and he wouldnt listen to you. After you bussed him and he repudiated you and scolded you like he was more experienced than you. (He kind of needs a good punch in the throat in my opinion).
Yes it was MXVI Masons vs Cult vs Maf game where he became a control freak and refysed to listen to his counselors or to fathom basic concepts of the game like bussing and weening.

Brainbomb, I am sorry that I have upset you.

I hope you can accept my apology and we can stop this bickering, as I'm sure everyone else is getting tired of it. With that in mind I also apologise to everyone else, not least wjessop and bo, for allowing my frustration at brain's behaviour to become rather bitchy.

That statement made, I would like to reassure everyone that when it is time for me to GM, I intend to be a fair adjudicator and I hope to provide a fun game with some nice flavour.

On the subject of voting rules, yes brainbomb I absolutely do intend to use the variant voting rules that I have proposed. The current 'must vote' rule is more or less meaningless, since it can be met by simply voting and then instantly unvoting.

In my game I intend to remove 'unvote' as a voting option. Players may vote, and they may move their vote from one target to another, but they may not unvote.

I would be surprised if this minor, constructive rule change, designed to increase participation, would result in 90 percent of players refusing to take part. If anyone else hates my proposal so much that they'd boycott the game, let them speak up.

I would also point out that the skills required to GM are very different from those required of a good player.

For what it may be worth, I feel my play in my first game was good. I was on the winning team I feel I played my part in my Town PR role. In the game where I was a cult leader I actually feel I did reasonably well at hiding my cult leader status until almost the end of the game, despite the game being made very challenging by the loss of the other Cult Leader on the very first day.

I will admit that my play in the last game was sub-optimal. In particular I got far too involved in defending myself from y2k tunnelling in me. I must say, on balance, you and Kremlin played very well and your team deserved that win.

Well Jamie, I have to say that I have strong objections to you changing any of the fundamental rules of Mafia like that, but I do not think this thread is the right place to discuss that - we should wait until your signup thread for that.

I won't be playing in a game with major rule changes like that. Jamie, please make sure you clearly highlight all the rules you plan to change when you make the sign up thread because if it is what you outline here I won't be in it.
