I think it was OB who was saved twice in a row, not me. I got saved first, then OB the following night, and I think OB again after that.

Angel saved 2 on the first night, and their save carried over through the rest of the game, and we as scum sadly tried to kill those 2 the first 3 nights.

If I had to say you have a weakness HR; its allowing yourself to be buddied. In MXV guak said your drunk posts were hilarious and he proceeded to suckle at your towny teats the whole game. You put him among your two highest town reads and allowed him to be spared the gallows D1. Imagine if we had lynched guak D1 instead of Bo tying it... Anyway players always are wary of someone pushing for their head than they are of their biggest defender. Look at last game ND and y2k adjusted their reads of me only after I included them as scummy. y2k at one point said I was his top townread.

In other words buddying is no longer scummy. Which is a bad habit to fall into at any skill level. Nobody should have any reason whatsoever to be sticking their neck out for anyone since nobody knows who is who other than scum.

There's a big difference between buddying someone and defending someone. You can and should point out flaws in reasoning behind a scum read, since scum need to use questionable logic to make accusations. In fact, "defending" someone from a shitty scum read can in itself be a form of scum hunting.

@brainybob last game my negatives were about balanced with my positives. all first half of the game i was confused, and all second half I was getting the hang of it so they balance out to a net 0. this game though I should be good.

So lets discuss some excellent scum strategies. I want to counsel any future players of mafia to try my system. Be everyones friend. defend people who dont need defending. throw at least 50% of your teammates under the bus and get rid of your weaker team members. So for instance if you end up on a maf team with jamie, be sure to let him die first since he sucks at this game horribly.
