So before we dive in here are some things you should know about playing Mafia. Here is a list of every single players playstyle and weaknesses.
1. yoyoyozo - always lurks as mafia. He is talkative, asks people to be his friend and is actually very useful as a town player. He has won Town MVP before as the vig, and is generally quite adept at indentifying player habits. last game yoyo single handedly identified 2 of the Town PR's for us (the maf squad). At other times yoyo can be a bit difficult to get to talk much in the qt but this feeds into his more aloof playstyle. As a mafiosa he plays loose, relaxed, and well studied. Never let yoyo get away with only 17 substantive posts over 2 days in game.
2. vash - I actually think vash is one of the most efficient town players. He tends to do quite well as town aligned. I think his skills are greatly diminished as mafia where he just tends to lay low and not say much of anything. I think he is a formidable investigator to deal with however when you are a bad aligned person.
3. ghug - he is an incredibly intimidating player. His style is very aggressive and hyperreal. He tends to blitz people with 20 questions before they can even zip their pants up. His weakness is his rivalries, and his inability to see beyond them. As scum ghug would be an incredible asset to his team. He always hovers around seeming scummy while typically ending up as town. ghug has been an MVP before and hence will always be a terrific threat to any scum team if he is alive for too long.
4. y2k - y2k asks tons of questions. he tries to get under everyones skin and he is never afraid of being suspected. He plays very sporadic, and throws accusations and votes around like the wind. y2k is almost always the same other than minor nuanced adjustments here and there. His skills are quite good and his win ratio hovers right at the same levels as yoyo, and vash.
5. HR - Is the most veteran mafia player on this site. He has played over 3000 mafia games and was affiliated with multiple mafia gaming websites. HR knows this game, and he is quite a valuable asset as a town player. In MXV he carried town to a win. HR has weaknesses like anyone else, one of which is that he is often fearkilled early for his prowess. If HR survives into Days 4 or 5, you have to basically assume he is Maf or 3rd party.
6. Chaqa - Chaqa is by and large in the same category with y2k and yoyo. I think when it comes down to it, a Mafia team will always wonder if Chaqa is lurking because he is a PR, or because he is just trying to mess with them. Chaqa has however played every side including third party. He knows how the game works and is fully capable of showing multiple playstyles.
7. OBGYN - I think his style of debate is one of the strongest. I would rank him in the last 3 games as being one of the better town players. However notice a tend there. OB has been a town PR three games in a row. What are the odds that trend continues? No really... what are the odds? It will be interesting to observe OB this game and how he plays as being a potential VT, or even more interesting would be if OB were maf this time around.
8. goldfinger - I was very impressed with his skills in the past game. I was quite nervous about him into the endgame. I have to say having only played once as mafia, and once as town, that goldfinger is one of the better players as town. And certainly shouldnt be overlooked as maf. However ultimately, he is still not quite at the experience level where I can say for sure. (Of course neither am I).

9. Vecna - Vecna has won as Mafia, he has also won as Town. He also got modkilled as a PR, and put in arguably one of the poorer town performances to date. I still think Vecna is a good debater and a valuable asset as a towny. Having proven himself fully able to win as maf in his debut game also, I have to say Vecna is someone you should always keep an eye on. Overall record 3-1
10. captainmeme - his playstyle infuriates many people. With no guak this game, you have to imagine the mantra going in is Policy Lynch Meme. I would caution against that. Meme was level headed and brilliant as a teammate. Anyone who can identify town PR's is an asset to town if they themself are a friendly role. Meme always survives to the endgame. Its just a matter of people need to watch his bad habits. If he snoops around EOD's too much, the gallows are much deserved in his future. <3 ya buddy, all hail the new dream team MXVII.
11. krellin - a psychopath. He probably wears diapers. But god does he make this game fun. I wouldnt be naive either, this guy knew who much of the town PR's and maf team members were. Nobody listened to him. He was helping town a ton, and all of you just thought he was crazy. Dont dismiss krellin, he is MXVII MVP for a reason. Now his overall record is pure shit. he's 1-4. But hes won MVP twice as Mafia. so obviously he knows how to play ;).
12. Maniac - I dont think Maniac is readable. He is the most consistently difficult player to read accurately. Maniac has won in a plethora of roles, and is webdip mafias most interesting person. He is a brilliant reaction tester, and will always catch you off guard. I think his strengths lie less in scum hunting and more in forcing people to adjust to the unexpected. This is a great tactic for all alignments to have because it makes it harder for people to blindly accuse each other.
13. DemonOverlord - A truly pleasant surprise to see DO join this game. I will be the first to admit that DO is very good as a town role. everytime I am scum in Epic Mafia, DO catches me on my first sentence. I geniunely hope I am not mafia this game because DO will catch me fast and it will be over. Now the other thing to note is, as mafia DO always pretends to be busy with something out of game. It could be anything from going jogging to a massive electromagnetic storm wiping out all power in north america.
14. Warden Dresden - a veteran of the game. One of the old classic players who has returned to his rightful home. Also a member of the new dream team 2016. Congrats my friend hows it feel to be a fucking winner? suck it town. Anyways, Warden is a sharpshooter and a cool cat. Watch out for this guy, hes tough to read.
15. xorsex - when you combine sex, xerox machines, and the 2016 maf Dream team, you get xorsex the bewilderer. He has now played as a townie, a mason, and a mafia in only 2 games. xorxes is the best rookie among the rookie players. His record is 1-1, and other than accidentally trying to Mason vecna in MXVI, his reads have been solid. In MXVII he was the first to state that OB was likely a PR. Xorxes is a great teammate, and he is a good researcher to have on any team.

16. reedeer1 - I think he improved quite a bit in just one game. The negatives are far outweighed by the positives, and overall I think if people had just listened to him, and he had beleived in himself more, ghug never would have been lynched in that lylo. Reedeer1 scum read me and krellin near endgame. Reedeer1 and ND were the only living players in the final 2 days to even suggest I could be scum. Sometimes new players speak without a meta game bias and it helps them alot. watch out for this guy, he should be improving.
17. DemonRHK - I would say this guy would have been the best of the 3 new players last game. I will be honest. I wanted him to die because I felt he was a town PR and would claim. He did a good job of playing confidently, and unfortunately for him the two wagons D1 were either him, or a very respected establishment player (vecna). Who knows maybe Demon would have been more valuable in an Endgame than Vecna? we cannot know, but I will say I look forward to him surviving beyond D1.
18. MoscowFleet - I have no idea anything about you man. Im sure you will be overwhelmed. Dont be afraid to look scummy as fuck, just please please dont quit. People are such jerks on here, trust me. You wont be the worst player this game at all.
19. ND - I think a major playstyle revolution must take place for you my friend. I think the evolution of ND is at hand. If I had been on your side last game I would have been more of a friend and an advisor. I dont like being on opposite teams as you. I respect you and I think we would work together well as Mafia, or as a squad of hero townies. Heres hoping we make an endgame this game too and we win as town! Cheers.
20. trip - best wishes and good luck sir. I look forward to seeing how your diplomacy press skills translate to this game. This truly is the best game on this website by the way. Dont ever let anyone tell you gunboat is better than mafia. (shush yoyo, its not). Anyway, I am less worried about you playing well than other people.
21. brainbomb - Well how can I describe myself? I have now read every mafia game on this site. I play on epic mafia regularly, my record is near to 50% on there. On webdip mafia I am in fact undefeated. If I win this game it will be a record. No webdip mafia player has ever won 4 games in a row. Not to brag, hell, I cant take credit for MXVI really, I fake claimed at got lynched. I dunno, maybe i'm lucky.

As a cop I am 26/47
As a Mafia I am 31/59
But there is a stat I am quite embarassed by, and I truly hope that I can reverse. I dont play well as a townie, perhaps on EM, or on here. So I have studied, and I hope that town will give me a chance to evolve my game this time around.
My town record on EM is only 43/108.
