Why 10 minute live games?

Why 10 minute live games all over the place right now? It's almost never the case that you get 7 people who "ready up" so it just turns into a double-length live game.

bloomberg on piers morgan doesnt understand why the police arent removing all police services from communities as extortion by refusing to protect communities again until gun restriction laws are passed. it sounds like a joke, but isnt.

Two live games were canceled recently due to cheaters

I just canceled two games due to the fact there were cheaters involved. The game had just started (1901-2) so I hope no one lost too much time.
Cheaters, just beware. We are on the lookout and we will ban your cheating ass, live games or not.

Accidentally put 2 profiles in the same game

AUSTRIA
First game we finished ending in a solo... nice way to kick off the tourney.
1901 - I get my two centers and Italy gets Mars - looking good for Austria/Italy.
1902 - Turkey builds an Army in Ankara (say what!), and I'm loving it. Looks like war between Russia and Turkey. Russia takes Rum with a fleet, so no threat to Bud (Bonus!).
1903 - I grab Bulgaria and Rumania, but Italy loses Tunis and is hard pressed at Mars. I take the opportunity to move to Tyrolia and get my fleet building started.
1904 - I continue to focus on Turkey, but Italy is in serious trouble. Turkey is walking dead...
1905 - I begin to bounce Germany who is looking to come south while mopping up Turkey.
1906 - I turn my fleets back to France/Italy, and commit to churning out more fleets if I plan to make a run at a solo...
1907-1910 its off to the races. England has too many fleets and not enough armies. France and England can't get on the same page and Berlin falls as well as Munich. I'll take it!

The Czech, fulhamish - was there a France/England coordination problem or did England just not have enough armies in play?

Hate playing Russia!
1901 – Germany bounced me out of Sweden and England took Norway with an army, in the south Turkey and I did usual bounce and then I took Rumania with a fleet trying to indicate that I was hoping to be neutral.
1902 – Sadly, Germany, Austria, England and Turkey all realise I’m a sitting duck and jump on me. I NMR in fall 1902 (although there was a limit to what I could have managed. By
1903 I manage to support myself back into St Petersburg and everyone else seems to be fighting, A vs T, G vs E. Manage to hold on and get a build back
1904 – Despite the other ongoing fights Germany and Austria both have spare armies to push into Russia and I’m trying to cover and end up losing Warsaw.
1905 – 1908 – Austria & England take it in turns to keep me supported in Moscow with my single army, but in the end Austria gets enough into position to take it regardless.

Austria/Italy destroyed Russia/Turkey and France/Germany took care of England. Could Italy have been kicked out of the draw in the end? Could Germany have made a run in 1911?

General comments for my brethren. I was not thrilled with my draw - 3 Germany, 2 Austria, 1 Turkey, 1 France, but hey, CStein got it worse with all Italy and Russia. Thanks Mapu, The Czech, Fulhamish, ava and Speaker for a great round, even if the very end was a grind!

"Jew in a Box"--New, From Germany! (WHAT. THE. HELL?)

Yeah, stick a Jew in a glass cage like he/she's an animal and have visitors come by and gawk at him like they're some sort of Kafka-esque curiosity (see: The Hunger Artist/Der Hungerkunstler.) If Germans are really that curious about Jews...how about asking some? Go to a synagogue, or a deli...DON'T treat them like circus animals! >:(
