Why 10 minute live games?

Why 10 minute live games all over the place right now? It's almost never the case that you get 7 people who "ready up" so it just turns into a double-length live game.

bloomberg on piers morgan doesnt understand why the police arent removing all police services from communities as extortion by refusing to protect communities again until gun restriction laws are passed. it sounds like a joke, but isnt.

Two live games were canceled recently due to cheaters

I just canceled two games due to the fact there were cheaters involved. The game had just started (1901-2) so I hope no one lost too much time.
Cheaters, just beware. We are on the lookout and we will ban your cheating ass, live games or not.

Accidentally put 2 profiles in the same game

Austria/Italy destroyed Russia/Turkey and France/Germany took care of England. Could Italy have been kicked out of the draw in the end? Could Germany have made a run in 1911?

AUSTRIA
By 1909 just the four of us remain, but Italy has had to vacate Turkey to defend against France in the west. I move to cut him out of the draw, but with no fleets and France hovering in the medi (as well as good defense from Italy (ava, you bugger)), I run back to a 4-way draw.
I believe Germany with backed up builds had a great opportunity in Autumn 1911 to aggressively attack me when I mistakenly pulled off the German boarders (fulhamish, why didn't you strike, and possibly take a run at a solo...). Luckily he was already commtted to calling it a day, so we drew.

ENGLAND
1901 – Decided to try an anti French opening for a change, head into MAO and get Norway.
1902 – With Germany having bounced Russia out of Sweden, and him being under attack down south moved into St Pete’s. Sadly couldn’t get Germany interested in an attack on France so was trying to outguess him.
1903 – Germany takes easy move into Norway and I get pushed out of the Atlantic by France
1904 – Push Germany out of Norway but France (rightly) continues to push north and I’m fighting both of them. Germany takes Edinburgh
1905 – France lands in Wales and its pretty much game over
1906 – No home centers, I’m sitting in St Pete and Norway offering mutual support but Germany hits with double support and takes Norway.
1907 – Germany kicks me out of St Pete, all over again!

General comments for my brethren. I was not thrilled with my draw - 3 Germany, 2 Austria, 1 Turkey, 1 France, but hey, CStein got it worse with all Italy and Russia. Thanks Mapu, The Czech, Fulhamish, ava and Speaker for a great round, even if the very end was a grind!

"Jew in a Box"--New, From Germany! (WHAT. THE. HELL?)

Yeah, stick a Jew in a glass cage like he/she's an animal and have visitors come by and gawk at him like they're some sort of Kafka-esque curiosity (see: The Hunger Artist/Der Hungerkunstler.) If Germans are really that curious about Jews...how about asking some? Go to a synagogue, or a deli...DON'T treat them like circus animals! >:(
