The Italian opening set the pace for this game, and gave Germany a quick grasp on Burgandy and the lowlands.

England went heavy north, and did not contest the German lowlands until later, when they cut support in holland so France could grab belgium.

Russia went heavy south, and after some struggles by England to push him from the north, finally had to concede STP and sweden to England.

Russia Turkey and Italy took no time (3 turns) in destroying Austria. After that, Italy and Russia worked Turkey over, and then we watched as Russia pushed the Italian back al the way to the boot.

England moved slow to put armies against the russian (due to france not moving his fleet from the EC long after it was no longer needed)

Had france moved his fleet earlier, Germany would have died (as he was about to do so anyways)

All in all though, it was a somewhat boring game.

why me SD? because I would not move on the Russian with that french fleet in EC and brest?

Sorry, but I have this habit of playing highly defensive with England, and with a french fleet in EC and one also in brest, I was not buding out of there.

He finally moved out, and so I quickly moved my armies/fleets around, but do not blame me for playing a defensive England with the channel occupied, and the ability to land an army from picardy on wales/london.

Stress - armies in Norwayy and StP have nothing to do with it.But nevermind,if you say let Russia get the solo as France is in EC - fine.

SD, really, the ball is in Frances court there to move out (which he did) and of course, I quickly moved against Russia and Germany.

I was okay with the French fleet there for a while, but once it was no longer required when Germany got pushed back, I did not understand the point ofit.

Russia was at 13, and I thought you could hold for a while (although when I lookat the map again, you would have had to destroy a fleet)

I take ityou wanted me to move to Livonia earlier with STp aand norway across? i thought about it a few times, but knew the best it woudl have done is divert an army over to warsaw and keep moscow also ocupied. I had no real illusions of expanding my holdings past STp with a army heavy Russia.

Don't bother,it allways sucks to him as he lose.Of course the game was great.
