Its fun to work my way up in terms of what I'm willing to wager. To some extent I bet here like I do in poker, there's no point in placing all of your holdings down at once. Wait til I get over 2k... then I can be peer-pressured into playing :-)

Plus regardless of how good you are at this game, playing gunboat, at least, its pretty easy to have a bad string of games, because sometimes everyone just gangs up on you.

I understand that completely. I don't think you're a coward not to join and you've done extremely well to build up your point base in such a short space of time.

Sometimes everyone just gangs up on you in full press too though.

OMG, it is a pyramid scheme.

What I find amusing is that Babak is always lamenting at how bad he is at gunboat, and when you look at top tier games, gunboat and full press wta, he's always at the top. I don't know why this sounds so familiar to me that the rich is always complaining about how they aren't getting enough. :)
I think Kestas has got to change this 0% tax rate. All it does is inflate the economy.

I say we do 10% for wta games, 5% for ppsc, 5% gunboats, 5% full press and so forth (all taxes are cumulative of course).

How do they do things like the world golf rankings, etc?

If you want a comprehensive ranking system for GB, I think weighting tournament results is a good basis. Could make really make for more competive games. We already have a couple majors in the two big gb tourney. And if we can factor any "organized" event, like the jcbryan series' and sargmacher's series.

I wish I had an idea on how to do something like this.
