So apparently this is going to become an actual official tournament. Here are some more rules:
1. Will the TD be able to force pause games?
Yes.
2. How many pauses will a player be able to request and how long may they be for?
One pause up to one week per Mountain game.
3. Will the TD have the power to switch players positions around?
No.
4. Will the TD have the power to pause games or replace players in the case of an impending NMR?
Yes.
5. Will the TD have the power to replace players who CD or pause games to prevent CD's?
Yes.
6. How long will the phases be?
25 hours.
7. What will the point buy in be?
5-10

, although the universal agreement of the participants will allow raising the buy-in.
8. What type of press format will the games have?
Full press.
9. Will the games be anonymous?
Yes.
10. What will happen if replacements are needed? Will you have someone sit for a player until the next round, or will they be replaced immediately?
Replacements will come immediately from the Mountain waiting list.
11. Will you be participating in the games? If the answer is yes, you cannot have TD power in those games, will you agree to send all requests for those games to the mod team, or would you like to designate a secondary TD for those games? If so, who?
I will participate in the first game, but, beyond that my participation will depend on staying in the game. I would prefer to send all requests for this game to the mod team. Given that it's a single game with (hopefully!) experienced players, this should not come up too often.
12. In the case of problems or disputes will the TD have the power to cancel/draw the games?
No - if someone cheats, they are removed as per the usual rules, and they would be replaced from the list.
13. Will the TD have the power to post messages in the global chat of a game as a gamemaster?
Yes.
14. Will there be point rewards for the winner and if so how much will the team need to deduct from each participant? Point lending is not allowed, if someone cannot afford the extra points they cannot win the point pot.
No, only prestige.
15. How will the tournament scoring work? (We don't need an answer for this question, but make sure you list it in the forum thread).
Scoring, such as it is, will be used only to determine who goes on to the next game. The winner or, in the event of a draw, top three players by supply center count (tiebreakers, in order: reliability ranking, Ghostrating) will play in the next game, along with the top players from the waiting list. If a player has to drop out, that player can be replaced from the waiting list, in order of sign up, with the same penalties as being eliminated. Any player who fails to win or make a top-three draw may rejoin the waiting list, but may not play in the next two games (unless there is a shortage of willing players) and may in no circumstances play in the next game.
