If the sentence's meaning depends on the spelling, such that the (in this case) two words, if spelled correctly, would lose the semantic integrity that make them a sentence, then basically yes.

Yoyo. You're not wrong, but by that logic, every day is a sentence. "When were you born?" "July third.". Bo's point was different, and in the sense he meant it, he was incorrect.

"July third" doesnt have a subject or a verb, therefore it isnt a sentence. "March fourth" does. The subject is you and the verb is "march," much like how the subject in "March forth" is you and and the verb is "march."
