The Masters Rounds 3 and 4

Alright, so all Masters 2013 info can be found at https://sites.google.com/site/phpdiplomacytournaments/themasters/masters-2013.

This is the most up to date info on the tournament and its scoring, and also includes an updated participants list. Unfortunately, the only way you can access the page is from the URL. I haven't put a link to it on the site yet that you can navigate to it from.

Second piece of business. We need subs. About 4 players are slated to drop out from the Tournament after their Round 2 games are finished, so we need new strong, able-bodied diplomacy players to take their place! (High GR preferred). Post or PM me if you're interested.

And finally, check your emails this weekend as I will be sending out the links to your Round 3 games. A week to a week and a half later, links to your Round 4 games will be sent out.

Rounds 5 and 6 are scheduled to start in June, and the final round (7) in July.

The Masters has been an absolute joy so far. I can't wait to see who some of these people are as I've met some really nice ones.

There you go. I haven't quite figured out how to work with the sidebar on the site....I don't have much experience in website design. There is still a bit of cleaning up to do on the site - adding links, making it look nicer, etc.

Also, I finished linking all the games for the Masters 2011, so that page is updated with everything except players' final scores (though you can see from the games section how many solos each person has).

Finally, I still haven't taken everyone's 50 point entry fee. I'll be getting around to it soon though.

I'm not sure, but I was under the impression that the game would be finished by October when I went to LSE, which would put the game starting in May or June

Why do users display "Available Points" instead of "Total Points"?

For what the points mean or don't mean, seeing and ranking by total points is more informative that the current display of available points, no?

Internet satellite tv /live streaming

Does anyone here use any of these services.If so which sites/programs work best.Interested in catching up on some shows that I've missed lately and want to watch older episodes.Also live sports tired of being forced to choose to watching only a few games at a time on cable.Would like to have wider selection of games to pick from.

Why the mods are being selective?

Why they take actions against a player who breaks a rule and don't take actions against a player who breaks the same rule as the other one? What's the point of the rules then?

Leaving a game

How do you leave a game? Is there a way to end your participation immediately (so the other players know) or do you just stop playing and the other players just see that you "missed the last phase" and wonder if you're coming back?

Are IQ tests a reliable measure of intelligence?

I remember when I took Psych 101 in college that we went through two weeks of lectures on the varying vying definitions of intelligence and the techniques and strategies for measuring it. How can you conclusively measure something that cannot be clearly defined?
