The Koniggratz Freakout

I was reading this the other day (http://www.diplomacy-archive.com/resources/strategy/articles/koniggratz.htm), I can't really understand why anyone would do that. Edi Birsan doesn't go much into why one would go with such a move, so I'm wondering if people have seen or tried it.

Stalemate lines in gunboat

Is there any generally accepted timeline for drawing as the 17 sc power when you are completely stalemated? 2 straight years of no territories exchanged was mentioned in a league rules I believe.

We need a Germany ASAP! Spring 1901

So our Germany, charmingly named "Large Pecker", was banned for cheating. I know nothing further, but the game starts in 18 min and we don't have a Germany, so come on! The game is called Marry You.

CLE @ BAL - The ravens are playing pretty well, the browns aren't. Ravens win
CAR @ ATL - Atlanta is good at home, cam isnt as good as people think. Atlanta
NE @ BUF - Brady is at 1-2 . . huh? Well they put it together against the bills
MIN @ DET - I'm assuming Stafford is out with injury for this game, Min picking up steam
SD @ KC - KC is one hell of a hard place to play, the beat Rivers in a close one
SEA @ STL - can the seahawks keep it going? Well they do play the rams, Seattle wins (but for real this time) ;)

So any comments so far/ My husband was going crazy over the kick return and punt return from Minnesota. Kinda sad that the Packers didn't lose.

The vikings are surprising, though I'm still not sold. SF looked good, though the jets played horribly regardless.
My packers played better offensivly, if Rodgers didnt get poked in the eye it probably would have been 35 to 27 or so, but Graham didnt like the sound of an 8 point game so he decided to trip himself.

The NFC is crazy right now!

It should be a tough defensive game, I dont expect Cutler to do much better than Romo. Hopefully it will be a good game, if anything I know one of the QB's will most likely implode which is fun to watch

Need a Replacement, Starting from the First Move

gameID=100580 needs a replacement for Germany, who was just banned. It's naturally a relatively good position-- we haven't even done the first move yet! Any replacements would be tremendously appreciated.
