Is anyone interested in a live game in an hour or so?
Stuck in the boonies tonight so I wouldn't mind a live game. I'd prefer to make it password protected . WTA, classic of course. Open on the bet but I'd prefer low pot. Any interest for a 930 EST start?
I've thought about opening with Belgian Gambit (Bre-Mid, Par-Pic, Mar-Bur) next time I draw France, particularly in a gunboat game. It seems to have a decent record with other players, and I've never used it myself... any thoughts on it?

What is it lately? Every game I've been in, I am dealing with people who get all upset and start making personal attacks or start saying "I'm taking my ball and going home! How dare you stab me! I'm going to abandon everything and help some other player win, while trash-talking you incessantly!!"
It is lunchtime on Monday the 30th April 2012 here in New Zealand. In Europe it is just past midnight in the wee hours of the morning. If you live west of the Atlantic, but east of New Zealand, it is still Sunday. Further updates soon.
I don't want to play in games with 3 players who are also in the other games. Especially when those 3 players seem to be working very well together in a similar fashion.
ShaDip: If you've got cheating accusations, don't post them here. Send an e-mail to [email protected].
If you are going to be away for a while, can't tend to your games and players aren't pausing for you, post here to find a substitute that will take over your games until you get back.
P-man: You also have to not log in to the site, I think. That's not a good strategy unless you are leaving the site for good and even then it's frowned upon.
hmmm...No, because people become sitters all the time, and if he publically posts his information, I don't see any harm in going in and gang raping his account.
For the real answer to your question, ShaDip: If you are going to be away a while, you should request a pause so the game will wait for you. If, for some reason, you wish to stop playing the game, you could get a sitter to play the game, but they will need your password and have access to ALL your games. It is always nice to have the sitter email the mods so we know and don't get all "MULTI ACCUSATION" on them ;)
JECE & P-Man: CD's happen when you don't log into the GAME for 2 consecutive turns in which you have orders to enter. So you can log into the site, but if you never hit the page of the game, you can CD.
Fortknox... regarding CDs, are you saying that you can miss more than 2 consecutive turns (ie the two red exclamation marks remain) if you visit the game page regularly?
@JECE/DiploMerlin: Civil Disorder (CD) and No Moves Received (NMR) are two separate things when you get down to the details.
An NMR simply means you didn't put in orders. CD is when the player has left for two turns they had orders in. In webdip, this means the player hasn't visited the game page for the two turns.
If you look, NMR has no restriction on game page views. You can play an entire game of NMR's without CD'ing by going to the game page, but not 'saving' or 'readying' orders.
Sorry to get nitpicky... just making sure everyone understands this entirely, since we are talking about it.
