Although now I say that, I probably wouldn't be able to get into Game 3 and earn enough points to get into the B League so I might as well just stay in the D League, where I'm likely to be in the Top 2 of my League?

yes, it is usualy somene who is currently leading a D league (and thus likely to be promoted anyway)

that means they play in both D and C that season (and thus can get into B if they do really well in C, but have many chances of being in C, either by not getting relegated from C, or by being promoted from D...)

I would be willing. I am playing in a D league and I think I am in third in my C1 league after 2 completed games. (I would be willing to play in both games)

indy, i think the league rules would state that you have to start a D level, no matter what your GR is.

however, given your GR you are likely to be promoted from D even if you joined in the middle (and jump possibly beyond the Cs if enough people at B/A level don't return next season)

gjdip was not responding for awhile. Then he posted here and responded by email to me saying he'd look things over and get back to me. Haven't heard from him again. I sent an email to Ghost asking if he would mind me getting the ball rolling on a C3 replacement player and on getting everyone's game 3 going, but haven't heard back from him either.

I have access to the tournament webpage and spreadsheet so have the tools, just looking for the permission.

They do not state how scheduling should occur, thus if the player agree unanimously they can start now. (as appropriate, the leagues usually run with ~2 week gaps between the start of each game, i think a delay is harmful to the format, but this is not specifically stated anywhere)

as for replacement, if all the top players* in the D leagues can be emailed the first to reply can have the place.

*top being those in the top 2 places of each league, therefore being the ones who are liable to be promoted at present.

IF we agree publicly (here), and there are no objections, i see no reason to delay or hinder the games.

that is to say, assume authority where it is not given. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
