Having played another game with Dizzy, I just want to say that the fears appear to me to be unwarranted. Just a terrible game of CDs.

I think they were referring to the middle three players.

Could be, but I also know Dizzy joined today so I wanted to dispel anyone who read that and suspected him/her. Came across in our other game as a good player.

Yeah, sorry. My post was in poor form. Just to be clear, I was not accusing anyone (especially Dizzy if it came off that way). I was just trying to show that there might be an explanation as to why everyone CDd.

Hi, thanks for your support mrlentz and I don't think you were accusing me tom, just wanted to let people know that I'm definately not metagaming, and am actuallly annoyed that some of my games have been blighted by CDs

Dizzy, it tends to be the norm rather than the exception for live games, or at least half and half. Just for future reference, the generally accepted mode on here is to vote cancel in a first year CD, regardless of country or number of players actually participating. And, some live games tend not to cancel -- start building familiarity with some names in the live games thread. The ones who show up and the ones who dont are fairly easy to discern, and join the games advertised by the ones who show up. Larger pots also help, but you will need to build points to get there....
