I had to logoff and didn't get chance to send the email. It seems the mod didnt get/read my PM? Now I am sendign email. The double account holder playing 5 games togetehr and killing other unsuspecting players!

You'd think that if they were going to cheat then at least go to the trouble of creating new throw away accounts each game instead of reusing the same ones.

Yeah, I saw those three games some days ago. I was amazed that someone would do something so blatant. I mean, gay1, gay2, gay3, gay4, gay5, gay6 is not very discrete. Plus, as digitsu mentioned, he used these names in three straight games. I think he was stopped pretty quickly, and was more amazed he was able to enter orders so fast! If he had actually been thinking, he also could have checked the winner takes all tick in his other games. And orange.toaster, I think he did exert more effort already!

what this board needs is an algo that flags potential cheaters using statistical analysis, and mails the mods automatically when somebody has a warning level over a certain threshold.
If it doens't already have one that is. Is the database of games/moves/msgs/accounts and IPs all tracked and open source? (well, not strictly open source, to everyone, but you know what I mean) If the admins are interested in that, I wouldn't mind volunteering my own time to writing one. If that sounds like a good idea please contact me directly, for obvious reasons.

I propose we invent a magic wand that will instantly turn all the user name into a flashing blinking name, kind of like how drunks in some states in the US have to have special license plates.

Digitsu, instead of spending your time writing code to automatically email a mod, please write code to change a user name to Yellow if your algorithm flags a user as a 'probable' and Red if it flags it as a 'definite'. I hope this won't add too much code to your algorithm.
