Message box lack of proper word wrap
Is it just me or does the text box not start the new line soon enough and end up in 3-6 words you can't see until posted. People like myself, who like to spell/type properly, must be annoyed as well. Unless it is only on my side, if so what can I do to fix it?

It seems Russia and England are not going to unpause and will likely CD, as polite requests have been ignored. Can this be unpaused so the rest of us can proceed with the game?

Summer Reading Reccomendations
I get the impression your average dip lpayer will be pretty well read. What great boks have youi read in the last year that you'd reccomend others to pack in their suitcase this summer?

One that I had failed to pick up for too many years: The Guns of August, Barabara Tuchman. A truly marvelous read and very relevant to this game we all love playing.

if you want to read some good fluff, i suggest "island of the sequined love nun" by christopher moore.
for non-fluffy, "the devil soldier" by caleb carr, which is about an american mercenary who fought for the emperor of china in the taiping rebellion.

trip, is that any relation to the Tom Cruise vehicle "The Last Samurai"? I know the movie doesn't claim any other media for it's reference, but it seems awfully coincidental...

The Last Samurai might be a ripoff of the idea, but the story is pretty different. American fights against the emperor of Japan, sides with the Samurai trying to hold on to their old way of life.

The Brothers Karamazov, if you want to only read one book in the summer.
Forget "Island of the Sequined Love Nun". If you are going to read any Christopher Moore, read 'Lamb - The Gospel of Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal'.

Outliers is an interesting book, should take you about an hour to read though.

I read my way through several Nabakov books last summer: Lolita; Mary; King, Queen, Knave; and, The Luzhin Defense. I'd recommend them all.

Admittedly I have a hard time reading anything outside of the fantasy fiction genre. I enjoyed the Mistborn trilogy by Branden Sanderson; just finished up Wolfblade by Jennifer Fallon - that was also very good.

Lions of Al-Rasan by Guy Gavriel Kay. Kingdom of the Grail by Judith Tarr.
I am right now reading 'Blood and Thunder' by Hampton Sides. I read lots of history books, but normally European history. This is one of the few I've ever read on American History, but it is very well written. I'm only 100 pages in, 300 to go, and I'm already lamenting being done.

A really good Sci Fi book though was Darwin's Radio by Greg Bear - though the second book (Darwin's Children) wasn't quite at the same level. Though I do have fond memories of some Isaac Asimov and Heinlein novels.

If you're willing to spend the entire summer, Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. =P

Otherwise, for non-fiction, The Blank Slate by Steven Pinker is a good one.

My favourite books are Terry Pratchet's Discworld series. Reading them once is not enough to find all the subtleties: you will have to read them several times.

This game was paused because of ban, and we have a country that appears to be CD who will not unpause. The game is a 10-hour game, and it has been much more than that since the game was paused.

What if I was able to look on the forums everyday and try to cool down arguments whenever they pop up? Like really I just have a whole lot of time to do stuff.
