I have seen the last word or so of a line cut off in Explorer in the in-game message boxes. Happens all the time. But it doesn't affect my typing of the messages.

This happens in Firefox as well and is a little annoying.

the problem is known, some people have some don't. Unfortunately I don't know what causes it.

It could probably be fixed by explicitly setting a word-wrap:break-word on the textarea's style tag...

I use Firefox/Chrome and Windows 7 Beta. Anyone who gets it as much as me have any correlations? Other than the Browser or possibly operating system I don't know what it could be. It is never in the forums, just the in game aspect.

It happens on occasion; but I'm not sure if it shows in the other countries message box appropriately, or if we are seeing the same identical thing (i.e. lack of wrapping and subsequent cutting off of some words).

Ninja, yeah it is in both browsers I switch depending on randomness. LanGaidin, only when I type, to other countries. When the messages are posted it is fine, just the duration of typing the message. I only have a problem because I've spent too long relying on being able to see my text as I type. Maybe I should use this to break myself of such a bad habit. It's limited my typing speed to a mere 70, so I think I'm going to just up it to my original 120 mark as a baseline using the no look method.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I type and type and nothing ever gets cut off, and word wrap works perfectly. I have used both IE and Firefox and home and at work with no issues.

Perhaps it correlates with some plugins?

That's strange. I'm using the most recent edition of firefox, and I've never, ever had this problem. I know of people in the past who've had it, but generally it was fixed by simply using firefox or a different browser than the one they were using.

I use IE 7 and have the problem, but I suspect it is because the CSS class applied doesn't show the scrollbar by default, so when it needs to show it, it starts covering the last few characters of a line. On the forum, however, the scroll bar shows but is inactive until the message gets long enough to need it, so it doesn't cut off.

It works fine for me on windows.. but breaks down on linux...

Well I am not finding consistencies. I don't use Firefox plug-ins except the basic ones required to view videos etc.

I didn't even think of the lack of scroll bar being the reason but that seems interesting. I have a main computer with Windows 7 Beta, using Firefox.
Also, a laptop with the newest Vista, using Firefox.

It only happens on the main pc, anyone with Windows 7 getting this so I can rule it out?

I haven't seen this on Windows 7 RC on Firefox (running in a VM).

I have windows 7 Beta I never moved to RC yet :P I did say beta after all, not like I'm unaware of the difference. I'll move to RC this weekend... after I read that it is guaranteed to be more stable from the users who converted.
