Otherwise, go through the proper channels for a problem like this, be patient for a solution (10 hrs is still hardly enough time for a response as I'm sure the mods and kestas have lives outside of Diplomacy), and keep your trap shut unless you have something constructive and/or helpful to say.

Why allow turns to advance so fast with no recourse if no one is able to moderate the games?
Other sites have LOADS of moderators, so i do not see the point- Oh, and they also don't charge money to access and their moderators are non profit too, so where again... is the point?

turn back the game to spring retreats, and include Austria in the phase.

If you had wanted a better response you should have asked politely and WAITED LONGER. 10 Hours is quite insufficient...larger sites can afford to have dozens of moderators because they are larger, we are only a small community and you can hardly expect us to produce an army of mods providing 24-hour service. In fact we have already progressed infinitely from having 0 mods to 3. (3-0)/0 tends to infinity, right?
Next, asking us to pay is not a way. If Kestas decided that we should pay one cent for membership then I think about 90 percent of players would drop out. First of all, many of us, like me, do not have access to any debiting system. We don't have money to spare, even if we did, we can't pay through your abovementioned methods. I'm in Hong Kong, and tell me how I am supposed to pay without a credit card. Secondly, even those who have credit cards and stuff will find it troublesome or impossible to pay money to someone who is on the other side of the planet. You may be able to transmit a million dollars from America to China in a second but we can't.
Kestas did it for nothing. Zilch. Zero. Naught. He actually pays from his own pocket for the server hosting fees. And you are ranting here saying that the site is crap and that we are slow in response and blah blah blah. The fact is that even as the site is a free, goodwill creation it is still more efficient and bug-free and user-friendly than any other, I repeat, any other diplomacy site in the whole World Wide Web. If you can't stand this site, you won't be able to stand any site.
