Karl Marx's predictions about wages
If I under correctly Karl Marx predicted that workers wages would fall, over time, until the workers would have no choice but to overthrow the system. Can anyone tell in which book/essay he actually made this prediction?

What I don't like about Diplomacy
Is that this is a zero-sum game. In order to win, you have to make other players lose. I, as an entrepreneur, libertarian and capitalist, find it particularly hard to see the behavior of people when they think they are playing a zero-sum game. Maybe this is why I take human behavior in the game so hard.

Is Beast Coast still alive, or did it die long ago?
Or is it just now making it's way out the door. Flatbush Zombies released their first main album on the 11th, so that's why I'm asking.

Voting Strategy
With the current political landscape, I am facing the very real possibility of the two main candidates being, in my opinion, pretty awful. I have had numerous discussions with friends over the strategy, but I bring it to you. Is it worth it to vote on principle? Should I vote third party if I think they are the best candidate? Or do I vote for the lesser of two evils among the big two?

PRI

The 'Revolution' R has to do with historic reasons. The 'I' of 'institutional' has always been the important letter.

Mexican revolution was never really leftist. In 1915 leftist Villa and Zapata fought 'institutional' Carranza, but Carranza won that war.

PRI was at least more left than it is today in the 30s. Cardenas implemented land reform and gave workers' and women more rights. He handed power over to more rightwing PRI people afterwards though, sadly.

I've heard Chavez speeches, and found nothing incoherent... populist, aggresive againts Bush and gringos that conspired against him, yes, but I find Maduro's speeches much weaker (maybe that's why Maduro lost the assembly), but Evo Morales, which I think ihas governed much better than both, has weaker speeches still.

Also there are more leftist movements than PSUV, no doubt, but more leftist parties? I'm beginning to think that you have no idea what you'r talking about.

@Putin
Cardenas was an AMAZING character, but he was not an educated person, and though he did many things that deserve praising, he didn't really change the ideological leaning of the 'revolutionary family'. And, besides some exceptions, that group was never really leftist, they were rather secularist and nationalist people.

And well, of course, less stupid (not less corrupt) than the current PRI leaders.

It had a popular system of basic committees which supplanted the old power structure of tribal rulers. It had the lowest infant mortality rate and highest life expectancy of all of Africa prior to its destruction by American and European liberals, which in turn destroyed Mali and set Boko Haram on the loose throughout West Africa. Now it's a failed state and the capital of Daesh. Nice job human rights liberals.

It looks like the coup in Honduras, the NATO assault of Libya, the arming of terrorists in Syria, the support of Turkey's war on the Kurds in Iraq and SE Turkey, the drone strikes all over MENA, the support of Saudi Arabia's assault on impoverished Yemen, the support of the Nazi coup in Ukraine, the support of the Israeli assaults and annexations of Palestinians and Palestinian land, etc.

"And, besides some exceptions, that group was never really leftist, they were rather secularist and nationalist people. "

That's true. Although Villa wanted to confiscate large estates he seemed to do so in order to fund the war against Huerta. He had plenty of business ties with the Americans. It seemed far less of an ideological thing. Carranza was definitely a nationalist, straight from the landowning class himself and wanted to fund the war by taxing foreign companies. Zapata was perhaps the one true leftist in the whole group.
principians (881 D)
14 Mar 16 UTC
^with 'revolutionary family' I meant the politicians that were in charge around the 20's-30's-40's. None of Carranza, Villa and Zapata survived the firs post-revolution period. Carranza was definitely not leftist. Zapata was an agrarian leftist, and we could label Villa a kind of progresist leftist. But again, the Villa-Zapata project was defeated in 1915.

not ready setting
Hello, I'm a newbie here. I am curious. If I put in some orders, save them and click the ready button, my orders are in and everything is great. Later, I go and click not ready. My previous orders were in and now I am changing some of them. I fail to clock watch and the time to make my moves expires. Does the software progress with my first set of orders? Or does the software cause my power to go into Civil Disorder.

My mom is creating a recipe book that is going to be published, and she came to a point where she didn't know weather to capitalize as part of the title: "More Than, or Less Than" or not "more than, or less than"

RECLAIM THE NIGHT
Women should feel and be safe walking in the streets every day and night. Sadly, this just isn't the case, all across the world. But once a year UK feminist groups hold a Reclaim the Night march across our cities. Tonight is that night, reclaiming the night for our mums, sisters, daughters, family and friends that just happen to be women.

Roman's never recorded anyone named Jesus being crucified
For an empire which was renowned for record keeping; it always struck me as odd that nobody named Jesus was ever Crucified. I asked my Mormon girlfriend once and they told me it was because Romans were afraid to let the truth get out that they had killed the son of God.

I Demand a Refund
I paid for a car wash after I got gas at Shell this evening but their wash was out of service. I asked for a refund and was told that it wasn't their fault that the wash was closed and that I should come back some other time when it's open and use the code then.

I'm curious to see what other stupid things you all should but can't get a refund for because of jackass cashiers.
