He's probably talking about the thread titled "niggers." I stand by what what I said there and now will do nothing more to make that happen or argue my position. I'm sure the mods will look into it on their own.

I'm not talking about any particular thread, just the concept in general.

Most threads people are opposed to are clearly trolls. What can be gained by arguing in them? You give the trolls exactly what they want; it jus doesn't make sense.

With regards to the concept in general I totally agree. It's specific types site-reputation-damaging titles that I'm talking about. There's a lot of dark things on the internet and we ought not let those kinds of norms take hold here.

I see where you're coming from, but, really, I don't think it helps. All it does is bump garbage to the top. If it really concerns you, email the mods, start a new thread about it, w/e, but let the offending thread die.

Given people don't even learn from their own experiences in the past on this site, I doubt we can expect them to take heed to your words now.

The offending thread will have a life for some time do to asshiles as bad (and some worse) than me constantly bumping it back up. there is nothing Invictus can do (or not do) to prevent that except ask it be locked. And I, for one, actually support him on this. Boobs, Penis, Niggers... All three of these should be locked.

Those aren't any more sexually explicit then asking about sex in the OP which you just said you were fine with. If any mod silenced those threads you would have thrown a fit and spent hours bitching the forum about it.

These threads should all be locked and the OPs banned.

Try again, JackassMOron. I said in the discussion regarding the threads that prompted all this that I supported locking the thread until Kestas chimed in but I felt it was handled poorly by a Jackass MOron like you.

If we don't bump threads we don't like, how can we get other people to not like it?

Surely if there's a problem with bad language in thread titles the site could prevent this type of pollution by filtering out such threads with a blacklist of words, something already done elsewhere I believe?
There's probably a software plugin available to site admins that will do this. If the thread titles are prevented from being vulgar then this contest over rudeness will only exist in individual posts within existing threads.
Seems like the best solution. Otherwise the debates on this site are quite enjoyable even if there is a certain amount of insults.
