Duane "Dog" Chapman versus Edward "Traitor" Snowden
"OK, it’s now been confirmed that this story is fake, but wouldn’t the world be a better place if Dog, who was born, Duane Chapman, was actually on the track of Snowden? Of course it would be." -inquisitr

Is an objective fact racism?
An objective fact is something tangible. The dog is sleeping. You can look and see the dog is sleeping. Richard Dawkins tweeted “all the world’s Muslims have fewer Nobel Prizes than Trinity College, Cambridge." This is an objective fact otherwise referred to as the truth.

Note, for some reason the Gunboat Peak ratings absolutely refused to be uploaded, so it is currently not available. All of the rest uploaded just fine without the slightest hitch. Very strange.

Gaming the System-Obamacare
Now that the personal mandate approaches the entrepreneurial spirit of the American populace already discovered a multitude of ways to game the system of Obamacare, much like Food Stamps and Welfare before it. Politically granted waivers seem the most popular. Who has them?

Liberal conservative
To Krellin, I am unaware of a lot of the context of your """Debates""" (liberal use of the word), so I'd like to be enlightened.

What do you is a liberal? What is a conservative? How do they differ?

Unintended consequences of taxation
The idea that the federal government can increase taxes no matter where an American lives just backfired. The number of Americans giving up their passports and renouncing US citizenship increased 600% in the second quarter of 2013.

A great story about a governor with a wicked sense of humor wanting to blow up a virtual buiilding in a virtual reality to let off some very real stress. Awesome story. We should all blow shit up in virtual reality. I know I love blowing up Borg Cubes in VR.

Hecks - my family foster kittens for the shelter. We often get them at about 4 weeks...we've had to hand/bottle feed some back to health because they were too weak, having been abandoned by their mothers or dropped off at the shelter for whatever reason. It's tough, because I've had kittens die in my arms as we try to nurse them to health. But, most of them make it, and we socialize them, teach them to play, they learn to cope with other animals (our "regular" cats and our dogs) and then we take them back to the shelter for adoption by their Forever Families.

Got 4 of them right now. My favorite is a fluffy gray fellow I cann "Eyegore" 'cause he kind of has bug eyes...

Luke 11:8 (Jesus on praying to the father incessantly)

8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.

Even Jesus had a wicked sense of humor. Pester God the Father till he finally gives in is what he is saying here.

Our girl is one of 14 her mum had, she can't keep any of them because she is a butane addict and all the children are immediately handed over to social services. We do not have a law that would force her to get sterilised and she is not interested in contraception

Gen Lee, actually, if you look at the way people treat animals, it is often reflective of their treatment of humans.

Today in Senegal it's Eid al-Fitr, or the end of Ramadan.

An already unusually hospitable country is today even more hospitable as neighbors circle around the neighborhood paying each other visits and asking for forgiveness for all the wrongs they did them in the past year.

And at every house they feed you a meal. Every. Single. House.

I'm endlessly blown away by the people of Senegal's capacity to be so bottomlessly gracious and kind.

Now seriously, humanity is a piece of shit.most of them(us) remind me monkeys or dogs, it is not clear to me at all how come we developed our society so far. People are bad to each other most of the time, and i am not talking about thiefs, rapers, killers,Muslims, just about the simple ordinary daily behavior.the big majority doesn't have any good intentions towards others and stupidity seems to be pop.

Great thread! It reflects Philippians 4:8-9:8 "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you."

Anyone see "Lovelace" yet?
I just heard the producers and director on a radio interview and they said the film wasn't about pornography, but about "a brave woman finding her voice." This sound canned, and I wondered if it was worth bothering with in the theater or totally DVD fare.
