Best run on death jokes.
Farah Fawcett died and went to heaven, and when she got there, God asked "what is your one wish for the world?" and she said "For all the children in it to be feel safe." so he killed Michael Jackson.

This thread needs a "Sage" function.
For those who don't know, on *ahem* various imageboards I deny visiting, if you want to tell someone their thread is idiotic or that they're idiotic without bumping the thread, you can "sage" it, wherein you say whatever you want and type "sage" as your email address and your post will not bump the thread.

Obviously, we would need a different way of doing that since we have emails tied to accounts, but... yeah. It would be a nice function.

i actually misspelled statement not testament...
i don't even know mark wahlsberg or SNL
say hello to your mother is probably an international joke
also i don't care what you believe or not
You can believe i live in Aruba or Virgin Islands. it's the same to me.
What's that obsession with aerodynamics and airplanes you ve got? i don't consider pilots something so special. not lawyers of course. its just a profession and the only requirement is studying about 6 years. being careful with words only applies to papers prepared for courts. not public forums filled up with adolescent jerks like yourself :-)
TheGhostmaker (1545 D)
27 Jun 09 UTC
The reason for the obsession with aeronautics is that a previous troll claimed to be a professor of aeronautics.
@Hellalt "just to heat you up some more: I have taken part to the official MENSA test and my IQ is estimated at 120 which i know isnt that great but still refers to the top 7% of the population. :-)"

I'd post mine but this is the Internet and anyone can say anything and I'd only be trolled back. My only comment is MENSA is a joke, triple 9 society all the way baby.
Oh and the Chess challenges, I'll take anyone on. I haven't lost a game in 10 years and I want to badly. It will encourage me to play again, I miss the game but it isn't fun alone.
Everyone who is feeding the troll is trolling themselves yet getting angry at the troll. I just have to say, what makes anyone think he has been serious about 99% of what he says? For all you know, like he claimed previously, he enjoys this and it is a form of anti-diplomacy he wants to pursue. Or, this is the Internet and 99% of people shouldn't have stock put into each other in terms of intellectual discourse, so why the fuck not? No written system is considered a language and cannot have the same amount of depth as an intricate language would provide. Spoken, signed, or otherwise, a language could never be replaced by a limited option such as written, pictographic, or hell even semaphore which while intensive is equal.

BTW to let you know that is no where near 7%. Theoretically it is, because of the way that the test is supposedly set up (Mean of 100 and a Standard deviation of 10) but A. The population isn't normally distributed, and B. It is a well known psychological fact that test scores go up every year on every test which means even if it was accurate (Mean 100 SD 10) at it's start, it isn't near that way anymore.

That being said 120 is still a good score, albeit probably a lie.

Bwahahahahahahahaha... At a 172 IQ (top .01% - a percent of a percent), I AM a MENSA member, shit for brains.
Draugnar.... If your IQ was 172 why would you waste time with MENSA? They only require an IQ of 130 to enter. Look into the Triple 9 Society, much better newsletter, more exclusive, higher level of discourse, and lastly, wont have to deal with 130's :P lol
Plus MENSA charges high dues like any other business to make money and accept anyone who meets their criteria which isn't that high in the first place.

"an IQ of 130 to enter."

I thought it was 140? I dunno. You're probably right.
Hamilton (137 D)
28 Jun 09 UTC
Draugnar, I seriously doubt your claim of a 172. Someone with an IQ that high would likely find talking to anyone below a 140 extraordinarily tedious.

hellalt (24 D)

172 is the biggest IQ result in the international Mensa club and it belongs to another Greek. So i bet my balls it doesn't belong to you lying bastard :P
by the way i just won 2 games hooray!
TheGhostmaker (1545 D)

Apparently mine is anywhere from 150 to 160. Not that I think it means much
I'm with you Ghostmaker, I tested at 153 and I do not tend to mention it because of several reasons. One the IQ testing is outdated, narrow, and doesn't accomplish anything other than giving people something to misconstrue. Two, I am disbelieved (not counting online that's to be expected) by people who had a different perspective on what it means, an IQ of 153 doesn't mean anything except I test high in spatial and mathematical ability. Three, I don't agree with testing in general because it sets a standard people are supposed to meet, as opposed to relishing intellectual differences.

Only good part is I get to tease my wife for being a 135 lol *(It's worth her retaliation because it gets her so riled it's cute)
Submariner (111 D)
28 Jun 09 UTC
IQ fluctuates over time anyway. Even less than meaning you have good mathematical and spatial awareness, it means you can solve certain types of puzzles at a certain speed.

Mine fluctuated between 150 and 170 at University... I'm now at around 130 as I don't do logical puzzles any more.
@rlumley - That comment made me look it up and I wasn't exactly right aparently, I'll just quote from wikipedia. "Stanford-Binet is 132, while for the Cattell it is 148" are the requirements, the former being the common one in the United States that later I haven't heard of. So I guess it varies based on test.
Submariner, you are very wrong. On average an IQ doesn't fluctuate more than a couple points throughout a lifetime. Maybe you should stay off the internet quizzes. I only took them throughout my education because it places "gifted" children in high priority classes and I would've died otherwise. My teachers told me they weren't supposed to divulge the results but they apparently didn't have very high work ethics.
Draugnar (0 DX)
28 Jun 09 UTC
OK, Realistically, it's something above 152. Most IQ test top out there and I rarely miss a question. I'm not a member of Mensa yet (plan to take it this next time they test in Cinci) but My best guess is between 147 and 162 based on occassionally missing a question on the standard IQ tests.
Draugnar (0 DX)
28 Jun 09 UTC
By the way, anyone over 145 should try for Mensa.

Draugnar, can I ask, why should they try for Mensa?
Draugnar (0 DX)
28 Jun 09 UTC
Or another. I need to look into Triple 9. And why not try for a high-IQ society?
Draugnar (0 DX)
28 Jun 09 UTC
LOL... OK, fig. You know what I meant.
Hamilton (137 D)
28 Jun 09 UTC
I don't know my exact score but I know it is over 135, because that was the minimum to get into mentally gifted classes when I took it in 3rd and 8th grade. But like many wise people said, it only tests one form of intelligence.
@ Hamilton... 3 :P lol Mathematical-Spatial-Verbal. I agree though, there are vast amounts of intelligences and being good in one two or even all three does not make one more intelligent than another overall, just in those fun little sects of logic.

Toledo/Ann Arbor Diplomacy Group
Is there anyone in the Toledo, OH / Ann Arbor, MI area, or just further out who would be interested in joining a f2f group that meets once a month? If so reply back to this thread.

We meet usually around once a month, have 4, 5, and 7 player maps, and have a great time. Hope to hear from you!
